«Breaking News» I'm A Celebrity: Emily Atack sets her sights on Harry Redknapp's footballer son Jamie Redknapp

Emily Atack, 28, asked Harry Redknapp, 71, if his son is single, during a chat with Rita Simons, 41, about famous family members, on Tuesday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity.  

The comedy actress made no effort to hide her interest in former professional footballer Jamie Redknapp, 45, who became divorced from Eternal singer Louise Redknapp, 44, just a year ago.

While sat down at the Creek, Emily asked Harry if Jamie is single, joking: 'Ooh imagine, Emily Redknapp, I would make a really good daughter in law.'

'You would be fantastic there is no doubt about that Emily,' agreed Harry. 

'I'm only messing around,' said Emily, before miming for Jamie Redknapp to give her a call. 

Earlier, Harry spoke proudly about his son Jamie, admitting: 'There are very few footballers who have sons who become footballers. 

'People think it's in the genes because it was amazing how me and Frank senior married sisters and we both had sons who played for England.

'There were never any doubts that he wouldn't be a footballer, he lived for football it was natural for him.'

Emily then revealed her connection to Sir Paul McCartney, after explaining that her whole family were in showbiz.

She jokingly labelled her family members: 'A bunch of show offs,' before admitting: 'I don't think there is a single person in my family who has a real job.'

'Christmas Day is definitely fun. I had comments when I was younger saying I'd only get into it because of my family. I'm related to a Beatle for goodness sake!'

'He and John Lennon started up their first band in my grandparent's garage. He's lovely and Stella and Mary are lovely.'

Emily asked: 'Is this Alan Sugar? I only found this out the other day.'

Rita responded: 'It's all anyone ever asks me, I'm so surprised you didn't know, I get so many people saying did I get my job on EastEnders because of him but no, I auditioned for four weeks.'

In the Bush Telegraph Rita later said: 'I think people are quick to say you got a leg up but just like Harry with Jamie, you can't give someone a leg up if they are c**p.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
