«Breaking News» George W. Bush slips Michelle Obama candy before his father's funeral

A grieving George W. Bush managed to slip former first lady Michelle Obama a piece of candy just before his father's state funeral service got underway. 

He gave Mrs Obama the candy as he was shaking her hand in the Washington National Cathedral on Wednesday for his father George W.H. Bush's funeral. 

Bush was greeting his predecessors and successors in the front row when he was spotted clearly placing something in the former first lady's palm.

Mrs Obama and husband Barack both smiled to each other as Bush moved on to greet the Clintons and Carters further down the row. 

The former president is known to share candy with Mrs Obama and was captured sneaking her a sweet during Senator John McCain's funeral back in September. 

Mrs Obama opened up about her close bond with Bush last month when she spoke of the now-viral moment he was caught handing her a cough drop during McCain's funeral. 

'I didn't realize at the time that anybody noticed what we were doing,' she said.  

'He is my partner in crime at every major thing where all the formers gather… So we're together all the time and I love him to death. He's a wonderful man. He's a funny man.

'It was a simple gesture. He was getting a cough drop from Laura - they were old cough drops, they were in a White House box.'

She said the now-viral moment showed that people were 'hungry' for unity.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
