He extolled his father, not only for his service as president but also as a role model as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Bush, who often referred to his father as '41' having been the 41st President, cried as he described him as 'the best father a son or daughter can have'.
He choked up at the end of his eulogy while invoking the daughter his parents lost when she was three and his mother, Barbara, who died in April.
He took comfort in knowing that 'dad is hugging Robin and holding mom's hand again'.
'Every day of his 73 years of marriage, Dad taught us all what it means to be a great husband. He married his sweetheart. He adored her. He laughed and cried with her. He was dedicated to her totally,' he said.
'In his old age dad enjoyed watching police show reruns, the volume on high, all the while holding mom's hand. After mom died, dad was strong, but all he really wanted to do was hold mom's hand again.'
Bush later patted his father's flag-draped coffin twice as he went back to his seat as tears streamed down his face. His wife Laura Bush wiped her eyes with a tissue as her husband sat next to her and she mouthed 'you did great'.
Earlier during his eulogy, Bush spoke lovingly of his father, saying: 'Through our tears let us know the blessings of knowing and loving you, a great and noble man.
'We're going to miss you your decency, sincerity and your kind soul will stay with us forever.'
He said his father taught him to 'serve with love' for fellow Americans.
'To his very last days, dad's life was instructive. As he aged he taught us how to grow with dignity, humor and kindness,' he said.
'One reason Dad knew how to die young is that he almost did it, twice. I think those brushes with death made him cherish the gift of life, and he vowed to live every day to the fullest.'
He said was 'never too busy to share his love of life' with those around him.

Bush also evoked laughter from the crowd when he shared lighthearted memories from his father's life.
'To us he was close to perfect but not totally,' Bush said.
'His short game was lousy. He wasn't exactly Fred Astaire on the dance floor. The man couldn't stomach vegetables, especially broccoli. And by the way, he passed these genetic defects along to us.'
In recalling how his parents moved their family from the East Coast to Texas when George was young, he noted that his father was always tolerant and kind.
'He and Mom adjusted to their arid surroundings quickly. He was a tolerant man. After all, he was kind and neighborly to the women with whom he, mom and I shared a bathroom in our small duplex, even after he learned their profession: ladies of the night,' he said to loud laughter.
'Dad could relate to people from all walks of life. He was an empathetic man. He valued character over pedigree. And he was no cynic. He looked for the good in each person and he usually found it.
'Dad taught us that public service is noble and necessary, that one can serve with integrity and hold true to the important values like faith and family.
'He strongly believed that it was important to give back to the community and country in which one lived. He recognized that serving others enriched the giver's soul. To us, his was the brightest of the thousand points of light.'
Bush spoke of another important lesson his father taught him when he followed in his footsteps to become the 43rd president.
'He showed me what it means to be a President who serves with integrity, leads with courage and acts with love in his heart for the citizens of our country,' he said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
