«Breaking News» Faye Tozer gushes over stunning bouquet of anniversary flowers from husband Mike Smith

She admitted her stint on Strictly Come Dancing had put a strain on their marriage.  

But Faye Tozer proved she's still very much in love with husband Mike Smith as she shared a snap of the stunning bouquet of flowers he gifted her for their wedding anniversary on Instagram on Wednesday. 

The Steps star, 43, revealed her long-time spouse surprised her with a gorgeous array of red roses and lilies when she returned home from a tiresome day rehearsals.

She gushed: 'After a long day at rehearsals coming back to these beauties! Aaaaah! Thank you @mick_smith xxx.' 

The couple, who also share nine-year-old son Michael, were celebrating their ninth anniversary, having tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Beamish Hall in County Durham back in December 2009. 

But while Faye and her software engineer husband's marriage has stood the test of time, the singer admitted she was finding it 'tough being away from home' while working on Strictly.

Insisting communication is key, she told The Sun: ‘It’s always tricky being away from home. You just have to keep your head above water.‘

We’ve just got to keep really tight as a family unit and make sure we communicate — I think that’s the only way. But it is tough being away from home because we miss each other.’ 

Faye, who has a nine-year-old son with Michael, said she is steering clear of the Strictly ‘curse’ after professional dancer Katya Jones, who is married to fellow dancer Neil, was caught sharing a smooch with celebrity partner Seann Walsh.

The Tragedy hitmaker's husband Mick was also keen to quash any rumours there was anything more than friendship between them, as he posted a selfie with rice grains stuck to the corner of his mouth to poke fun at the images taken of the pair.

He wrote: 'Where’s @pernicegiovann1 when you need him? Help me out @fayetozersmith'.

Faye has credited her husband for being 'so supportive' of her Strictly Come Dancing stint, revealing her husband has come down to the studios to support her 'every week' in an interview with OK! magazine.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
