«Breaking News» Drew Barrymore takes fun snaps of her children during festive trip to Florence

Drew Barrymore was making memories during her family trip to Florence, Italy over the festive period. 

The 43-year-old was wrapped up against the cold as she happily snapped pictures of her beloved children while enjoying a winter's stroll. 

The E.T. icon is currently away with her children Olive, five, and Frankie, three, as well as the nanny while taking a break from work.

She looked lovely, wearing a colourful knitted hat along with a grey top, loose-fitting tracksuit bottoms and a long cream cardigan which she wore over the top. 

Putting comfort first, Drew also wore a pair of flat brown leather boots which had a side buckle. 

Just days before, the Hollywood superstar discussed the 'not easy' reality of co-parenting.

She shared two photos of herself and her ex, actor Will Kopelman, 40, who she split from in 2016 after four years of marriage. 

One picture was from the Golden Globes in 2014 with the couple all dressed up, and another undated photo showed them out walking with their young daughter in a stroller.

'Once upon a time... I remember reading an article that said I had gotten my happy ending after all. Looking at this picture, it sure looks that way,' Barrymore began. 

Drew said: 'Here is me in a before pose and then 25 pounds later in the same place. You can tell my face is so much thinner! This takes me so much work,' she said, sharing the picture on the right

She said: 'And then, like many times in life for all of us, our plans change and our dreams are adjusted.

'But that doesn't mean that every second wasn't worth it. And if that DeLorean time machine pulled up every day, I would do it all over again.'

'After all, I did get my dream. 2 healthy girls. Will and I continue to marvel at what we made and try to be the best co parents we can be,' the three times married star added. 

'It's not always easy and the point is...nothing in life is. But it doesn't mean that any bitter outweighs the sweet! 

Will has moved on romantically following his relationship with Drew, and has recently been photographed with British model Karen Elson.  

Drew also revealed that she's been working out and has lost an impressive 25lbs over the last few months. 

Sharing a before and after of her body, she revealed she had been working out in order to get back in shape. 

'Here is me in a before pose and then 25 pounds later in the same place. You can tell my face is so much thinner! This takes me so much work,' she said.

'Diet and exercise and fighting like a lion for it! Damn you genetics! And yet thank you for all the good stuff,' the actress said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
