But Coronation Street's legendary landlady Beverley Callard has admitted she'd be too embarrassed to even leave her dressing room if she sported the same scantily-clad looks as her character Liz McDonald.
Speaking on Wednesday's Loose Women, the 60-year-old soap star confessed the thought some of the outfits her character wore were 'disgusting,' as she also discussed the ongoing affair storyline with married Johnny Connor.

Beverley told panelists Gloria Hunniford, Coleen Nolan, Stacey Solomon and Kaye Adams: 'My clothes on Coronation Street are disgusting. Sometimes I look and think I dare not set foot out of this dressing room.'
Of course Liz has become legendary for her incredibly revealing outfits in the almost 30 years since joining Corrie, and has never been a stranger to a thigh-skimming skirt or plunging top, or even sometimes both.
It comes as her character has been at the centre of an explosive affair storyline, after she chose to sleep with Johnny Connor during a rough patch in his marriage to Jenny Bradley.

The plot is set to come to a head over the festive season, as Jenny steps up her revenge scheme, and with it rumoured that Liz will be the victim of a hit and run, it remains to be seen who will be the culprit.
Chatting about the plot, Beverley said: 'When they first gave me the script and Liz slept with Jonny I was like no, I don’t want to do that, Liz would never have done what with a married man.
'A lot of people were jealous of me.
'More often than not we get scripts in and think this is amazing, but sometimes you think, I just don’t think she would do that. We know our characters so well and what they would do.
'She always makes wrong decisions but I felt she wouldn’t do that to another woman.'

As part of her revenge scheme, it has been revealed that Jenny will accidentally set up Liz on an escort leading her to have an extraordinary meeting with a young man.
After they played a clip from an upcoming episode, Beverley explained: 'He was so much younger than I thought he would have cast, and in real life you’d have said yes.'
Fans will have to wait and see how the storyline plays out over the festive season, and whether Liz and Johnny's affair will finally be exposed.

She said: 'I'm still in touch with her brother and his wife and her two nephews. It will be four years in January, its gone so fast, especially at work I miss her every single year.
'Liz and Deidre were just great as we knew exactly what the other one would do.'
Coronation Street continues on Wednesday 12th December at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
