The Queen has given her Christmas trees a personal touch this year - with bespoke crown and carriage decorations.
Three impressive fir trees have been erected in the Marble Hall at Buckingham Palace, adorned with royal-themed hangings.
Some of the personalised decorations appear to have been inspired by the 92-year-old monarch's coronation crown, while others have the word 'Palace' embroidered on them.
Meanwhile, a traditional garland decorated with baubles has been put up along the grand staircase, in keeping with the festive spirit.

Footage shot inside the Queen's London residence showed three towering Christmas trees being put in place in the vast Marble Hall near the Grand Entrance.
Hundreds of white lights were added to the trees, which were decorated in 'royal style' with Royal Collection Christmas decorations.
The video on the Royal Family's Twitter account declared: 'It's officially Christmas at Buckingham Palace!'
Staff were shown standing on a huge ladder to reach the top of the central tree, which stood 15ft tall on its white plinth, as they covered it with lights.

The Queen (above in November)will no doubt ensure that Buckingham Palace looks the part when she hosts members of the royal family as part of her annual Christmas lunch this month.

A royal carriage also features among the decorations, perhaps in nod to the two royal weddings we saw this year

Buckingham Palace shared a video showing the trees being erected on the official Royal Family Twitter page
The trees were grown at Windsor and taken to the Palace at the start of December, with workers securing them firmly in place around the trunk on the plinths, with pieces of wood.
The Queen will no doubt want to ensure that Buckingham Palace looks the part when she hosts members of the royal family as part of her annual pre-Christmas lunch later this month.
The traditional lunch at the Palace usually takes place mid-week, shortly before the royal family head to Sandringham for the 25th.
The annual event provides the monarch with the opportunity to spend time with members of the extended family who will not be joining her at her Norfolk estate, as well as senior royals.
This year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with George, Charlotte, and Louis, will be celebrating Christmas this year in Norfolk, despite previous reports that they would be spending the day with the Middletons.

Insiders have suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will again be staying with William and Kate at their Norfolk home Anmer Hall, which is a short drive away from Sandringham.
It comes amid rumours of a rift between the Cambridges and Sussexes, following the announcement Meghan and Harry will be moving away from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor next year.
Christmas preparations appear under way at all the Queen's residences, with a spectacular 20ft Nordmann fir was erected at St George's Hall in Windsor Castle last week.
The tree - decorated with golden baubles and pine cones, hundreds of fairy lights, and even tiny replica crowns - is on display to the public in the run-up to Christmas.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
