The former first daughter and her husband Craig Coyne got married last month after moving up their wedding date just so Barbara's grandfather could attend the nuptials.

When Bush concluded the eulogy and cameras filmed him walking back to his seat, Coyne was seen visibly sobbing three rows behind him.

Barbara could be seen wiping away her own tears as they consoled each other.

The newlyweds have been open about how they moved up their wedding date so George H.W. Bush could see his granddaughter walk down the aisle before he died.

The elder Bush proudly watched on as the pair married at the family's estate in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Barbara opened up about her grandfather during an interview on Today with her twin sister Jenna Bush Hager prior to the funeral.

She detailed that one of the last things he told her before passing away on Friday was how beautiful she looked as a bride.

Barbara said on the day of the wedding, George Sr. made sure he could see his granddaughter in her dress before anyone else.

'He got dressed early and came downstairs early before the wedding so that he could see me in my wedding dress before we got married,' she said.

She said when they spoke for the last time this week, he spoke fondly about her wedding day.

'One of the last things he said to me was that I've never looked so beautiful,' Barbara said, choking back tears.

Coyne, who is a writer and actor, never got to meet Barbara's grandmother and namesake before she died in April.

When the got engaged in secret at the start of the summer, Barbara and Coyne reportedly spent time alone with George Sr. as they consoled him following the death of the former first lady.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
