Priyanka Chopra's wedding dress was certainly a show-stopper — but there was also more than meets the eye.
Custom-made by Ralph Lauren, the 36-year-old bride's designer gown wasn't just a couture masterpiece: It also incorporated a slew of important and meaningful touches to pay tribute to the couple's love and their life together.
People reports that the dress — which took a mind-boggling 1,826 hours to make — even had a few hidden messages sewn in.

Priyanka and Nick worked closely with Ralph Lauren to design her dress and his tuxedo for their Jodhpur, India wedding ceremony on Saturday.
Some details are obvious at first look, like the stunning hand-beading and hand-embroidery, the enormous, 75-foot veil, and the sheer volume of mother-of-pearl sequins — 2,380,000 in all.
But other touches require some insider knowledge.
For one thing, Priyanka's dress had several hidden pieces sewn into it.
In addition to the embroidered floral and scroll motifs, she also had a piece of mother-in-law Denise Jonas' lace wedding dress added into her own.
The embroidery also had words, including her husband's full name — 'Nicholas Jerry Jonas' — and their wedding date, '1st December 2018.'

In a addition, there were the names of Priyanka's parents 'Madhu & Ashok,' the traditional Hindi mantra 'Om Namah Shivay,' and the words 'family,' 'hope,' 'compassion,' and 'love.'
Nick also had some hidden pieces in his Purple Label tux, including lace from Priyanka's dress sewn into his lapel, as well as the Urdo words 'My Jaan,' which means 'my life.'
And the decision to ask Ralph Lauren to design their outfits also had a special meaning for the couple, after they attended the 2017 Met Gala as the designer's guests.
'They’re so much a part of our love story for obvious reasons,' Priyanka told People.
'For the Western wedding, we had been talking to a bunch of incredible designers, but ultimately when Ralph Lauren approached us, I learned that Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years — one for his daughter, his daughter in law, and his niece. I was blown away,' she said.

The designer also designed bridesmaids dresses and tuxes for the groomsmen, as well as outfits for the flower girls, the ring bearer, and the bride and groom's parents.
Priyanka finished off with custom Jimmy Choo shoes.
And that was just for the Western wedding. On Sunday, they had an additional Hindu ceremony, where Priyanka wore a traditional red lehenga custom-made by designer Sabyasachi.
The lehenga, which has layers of threadwork, organza flowers, and silk French knots, took 110 embroiderers 3,720 hours to create.
And it, too, had some hidden touches, including the names of her husband and her parents sewn into the waistband of her skirt.
Inspiration? Priyanka's friend Meghan Markle also had hidden details in her gown — specifically, flowers of the Commonwealth countries in her veil

All of those hidden details are reminiscent of Meghan Markle's dress for her wedding to Prince Harry.
Though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were unable to make it due to concerns over Zika and security, Meghan seems to have inspired her friend Priyanka to sewn in some special messages.
Speaking abut her dress in the documentary Queen of the World, she said, 'Somewhere in here there’s a piece of blue fabric that’s stitched inside — it was my something blue. It’s fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date.'
She also had flowers from 53 Commonwealth countries embroidered into the veil, as well as California's state flower for herself.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
