«Breaking News» Three teenage schoolboys are in hospital 'after taking drugs'

Three schoolboys are in hospital with one in an induced coma after taking suspected illegal drugs.

Two boys aged 15 and one aged 14 are being treated by medics in Bury, Greater Manchester as police investigate what they may have taken and how much.

One of 15 year old boys was initially arrested on suspicion of drug dealing, but became unwell and was rushed to hospital. He has since been put in an induced coma by medics.

The other 15 year old and the boy aged 14 were admitted to hospital separately but their sickness is being linked to the other case.

The 15 year old is being treated on a ward while the other is in a critical but stable conditon.

A 40-year-old woman is being questioned by Greater Manchester Police over suspected drug dealing.

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Atton, from GMP's Bury borough, said: 'The teenagers took what are believed to be illegal drugs sometime on Wednesday 16 January, and subsequently they became unwell before being taken to hospital on Thursday evening.

'An investigation has been launched and there are tests ongoing to establish what the boys have taken and in what quantity. We're working on the assumption that they have consumed an illegal drug, but at this stage it is still unclear what this is.'

Police are appealing the boys' friends to come forward and help the investigation.

DCI Atton added: 'This is an extremely serious incident, with three boys from the Redvales area of Bury in a serious condition in hospital.

'We are concerned about any other people in the area who may have taken whatever these boys have and I would urge anyone who has to urgently seek medical attention. 

'We cannot say what the drug is at the moment as tests are ongoing, but we do expect that people who have some of these drugs may well have heard what has happened.

'We appeal to anyone with this drug on them not to take it, as it could seriously harm your health

'If you know you have taken this drug you should seek medical advice immediately at your local hospital.

'Until we are able to say what substance has been taken and in what quantity we cannot give more specific advice but I would like to remind people of the dangers of taking illicit drugs.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
