«Breaking News» Sickening moment man punches woman outside nightclub

This is the shocking moment a man grabbed a fellow New Year's Eve reveller by her hair before repeatedly punching her and throwing her to the ground.

The man threw at least seven punches in five seconds outside Lotus nightclub in Clapham, South West London, overnight as a security guard tried to intervene.

Friends said the victim was 'very shaken up' and 'very bruised right now but she's doing OK', adding that the punches left her with a bleeding nose.

The incident happened outside the club, which had last night hosted an event called 'Galaxy Gala 2019 - New Year's Eve at Lotus', with tickets costing up to £40.

One friend posted a video of the shocking attack online in the early hours and said she was 'in shock' - describing the man as a 'coward' for running off.

The woman, a dancer from Zimbabwe who uses the Twitter name 'Flower You Got To Protect', posted about the attack in a series of tweets after 5.30am today.

She wrote: 'Guys this guy attacked my friend outside Lotus today. Please retweet, this needs to be seen. He is such a coward. See how he ran away after.

'I couldn't record it obviously, but he attacked me too and punched me in the face when I tried to pull him off my friend so every retweet to identify him is vital.

'Honestly, I'm in shock. She didn't touch him. We don't know him. He literally came out of nowhere. Such a coward, honestly

'People can be so mad, honestly. I don't know how many times we have to say, she didn't do anything to him. He literally came out of nowhere.'

The woman added that 'nothing justifies him attacking a female like that', and said he had 'already dragged her across the road' when she started filming.

Another of the victim's friends, Steph Dixon, tweeted: 'Everyone, please watch this as this was my friend last and was horrible to witness, people are disgusting.

'Please retweet because this guy needs to be arrested as he not only injured her but also another one of my friends. He has left my friend scared and bruised.

'Find him. This attack was unprovoked. There was a group of girls being rude to us so we tried to leave the scene and order an Uber.

'But whilst we were waiting, the guy in the video came out of nowhere and proceeded to drag and punch my friend.

'We think that the girls knew the boy, hyped up the situation where he then attacked my friend. Disgusting.

'We hadn't seen him prior to the incident all night and was trying to leave because of what happened with the girls.

'Whether provoked or unprovoked, this is never acceptable. The club will have CCTV footage anyway which will prove that.'

A Scotland Yard spokesman told MailOnline today: 'Police were called to Clapham High Street, SW4 at 4am following reports of an assault.

The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
