Matt Damon has set a new record - and it has nothing to do with the box office.
The 48-year-old actor and his wife Luciana paid a record $16.75 million for a six-bedroom penthouse apartment at The Standish in the New York neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights.
The massive sum trumps a previous local record of $15.5 million for a Cobble Hill townhouse set in 2015 by photographer Jay Maisel; and the $15.5 million Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany paid last year for an 8,000 sq. foot townhouse in the neighborhood.

The apartment building's website promises residents the finest in modern appliances and luxuries throughout the multi-million dollar dwellings.
'Kitchen cabinetry in a refined Shaker-style aesthetic' and 'enhanced with premium Bertazzoni-Italia and Bosch appliances and natural brass Fantini fixtures' according to a previous listing.
'Bathrooms feature rain showers, travertine and mosaic accents, and Fantini fixtures in natural brass' reads the listing. Undermount sinks and freestanding tubs in select residences add an extra element of simple, elegant practicality.'
School days: The building is just a few blocks from the prestigious St. Ann's school, where Damon can enroll his three youngest daughters

Other amenities within the building, according to Real Estalker, include an immaculate lobby composed of porcelain and marble, a playroom for kids, a fitness area and a full-time doorman and concierge.

The Frank S. Lowe-designed building, which was built in 1903, got its name due to the fact that it was the former site of the Standish Arms Hotel. It was once owned for 26 years by the Jehovah's Witnesses, who snapped up a good deal of real estate in the neighborhood before selling most of it off over the past decade.
Change of plans: Damon was reportedly looking at property in Australia, but has settled on the Big Apple instead

The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
