And the pair were sure to make an impression filming the first episode, which was shot on Tuesday, dancing through the aisle with the audience Ellen-style and revealing the intimate details of when Goldie attended the birth of Kate's child.
They also wheeled on Kate's brother Oliver to make it a complete family affair, and interviewed surprise guest Gwyneth Paltrow, who chatted about her bizarre honeymoon, which saw her take her new husband Brad Falchuk as well as her ex-husband, Chris Martin.

The Hawn/Hudsons started their first show by surprising a group of people on a Warner Bros studio tour with front row tickets to the taping.
This was a nod to the fact that Goldie filmed Private Benjamin and Swing Shift on the lot.
Kate chatted about her newborn daughter, Rani Rose, and checked in with Ellen herself, who was 'babysitting'.
Kate also opened up about her attempt to have a natural childbirth with Rani, how Goldie got a little too close to the action in the delivery room, and joked that she hopes her daughter doesn’t inherit their body odor.

On bringing Oliver out into the studio, the siblings shared embarrassing stories about their mother.
Last time Kate was on the show with her mother - as a guest - she was still pregnant with her daughter, whom she shares with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.
The couple welcomed the baby three months ago, and revealed on the show in September that she was due any moment.
'Let's just say you've probably never had anyone ever this pregnant on your show,' she told Ellen at the time.

Ellen said 'Really it looks like you could be any second, to which Kate said: 'It could be, water could go any second.'
The host jokingly said she has tools ready if she gives birth on the show - tongs and mitts.
Kate, who wore a black maternity blazer and tank top from Isabella Oliver, said to her mom she's surprised she didn't have the kitchen mitts for the birth of her second child, Bing.
Goldie revealed that she took pizza with her to Kate's last birth because she was 'hungry.'

Goldie said: 'But it was going to open and that's what the flower did.'

Goldie said while Kate was in labor that she got hungry: 'She was in the stirrups and everything but she was dilating, but I was really hungry so I had pizza and Doritos.'
Kate said the best part was 'actually when mom called me when I was in labor, said "I'm about to take a swim and I was going to get a massage - how long do you think you'll be in labor" and I said "I don't know mom" and then I'm calling the nurse, "do you know how long I'm going to be laboring my mom wants to swim?"
Kate's baby will be Goldie's sixth grandchild, to which the movie star said 'none of it stressed me out' because 'the excitement is far greater than the stress part,' adding however that she 'should have been more mindful.'
Goldie added that for Kate's second child she thought it was going to be a girl; she even knitted a pink blanket.

She recalled that 'When I saw his penis coming out,' she said to herself, 'Boy did I screw up' - referring to thinking it's a baby girl.

The movie star, who is the co-founder of athletic wear brand Fabletics, revealed she has a few names picked out but will decide when the baby arrives.
The mother-daughter duo worked on a new collection for Fabletics - 50% of the proceeds will go to MindUp, which is part of The Hawn Foundation.
Kate is pregnant with her third child - her first child with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, 32; they are expecting a baby girl.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
