«Breaking News» Brrrrrrring on 2019! Britain is to shiver in freezing temperatures

Britain is braced for freezing temperatures as an Arctic blast looks set to kick off the cold year, ending the warm spell of recent days.

Cloud and rain will today sweep the UK from north to south as the chill cross the country in a sign of things to come for 2019.

The imminent return of the Beast from the East as well as a Russian Big Freeze mean months of freezing temperatures.

Though the sun will be seen shining across the country today, temperatures are set to plunge and frost will spread tonight, with drivers advised to have ice scrapers ready tomorrow (pictured: This year's first sunrise over Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire

Met Office forecasters believe that midway through this month snow will have hit most parts of Great Britain, with low temperatures continuing until spring.

Today lows of 2C will hit the highest points of the Scottish isles, with highest temperatures set be just 11C and concentrated in south-west England.

Northern Ireland will experience highs of 8C and the north and midlands of England will hover around the 7C mark.

Wales will have highs of 10C, but conditions are set to remain cloudy throughout the day, with southern parts the warmest.

The cold spell dubbed 'the Beast from the East' was caused by a jump in temperatures high over the Arctic, known as 'sudden stratospheric warming'. This is where the temperature suddenly rises high up in the stratosphere, between six and 30 miles above the North Pole, and can result in a chain reaction that leads to very cold conditions from eastern Europe and Russia

New Year's Day could see daytime temperatures fall, and drop below 32F (0C) at night - before remaining cold the next day

Met Office spokesman Simon Partridge told The Sun the UK is on track for its coldest winter on record and warned that similar predictions about a freeze in the early months of last year were very accurate.

Snow stretched across many parts of the UK last year, with the powder covering areas as late as March and this year forecasters say there is an even higher chance of colder spells than 2018.

Although today will be cold, a deceptive sun will shine across many parts of Britain throughout the day. Drivers should have ice scrapers handy for Wednesday morning as frost is expected overnight.

Link hienalouca.com Interesting to note Looking for an investor or sponsor for a project to grow dinosaurs and relict plants. Requires the sum of investments from 400000$ to 900000$. The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
