Robbie told The Sun: 'We [him and wife Ayda] would love to come back. But we need to be treated kindly, so we'll see. Is that my pitch for a pay rise? Abso-f***ing-lutely.'

He added that X Factor bosses had got 'their money's worth' with him and Ayda as judges this year and were happy with their performance.

The singer added that he hoped his debut as a judge could lead to his own show.

'I've always dreamed of having my own TV show. I want to do something like the Morecambe and Wise Show meets the Dean Martin Show meets Noel's House Party,' he confessed.

'I'm in with all the TV bigwigs now. And they appear to be happy with me.'

It comes amid claims show bosses threatened to ban contestant Danny Tetley from performing with Robbie in the final after losing patience with his 'diva' antics.

Sources claimed to The Sun that the singer, 37, faced being dropped from the show after allegedly missing an important rehearsal for a group performance with Robbie earlier this week.

MailOnline has contacted an X Factor representative for comment.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
