«Breaking News» Amsterdam's Schiphol airport is evacuated after 'man with knife said he had a bomb'

Amsterdam's Schiphol airport has been evacuated after a man carrying a knife claimed he had a bomb. 

The man was said to have entered the departures building at Amsterdam airport on Monday evening, resulting in an armed police lockdown of the terminal.

Initial reports suggest that a man entered Departure Hall 3 and shouted that he was in possession of a bomb. 

He was quickly confronted by police and was reportedly forcibly detained by officers on the scene. 

Footage claimed to be of the moment police took down the suspect was posted on social media after the incident

Witnesses inside the terminal said they ran for their lives after the man claimed he was in possession of a device. 

A spokesperson for Koninklijke Marechaussee, the Netherlands military police, said the situation was now 'under control'.

'Situation at Schiphol under control,' the spokesman said. 'Suspect overpowered by the Royal Military Police. Hall released again.'   

The Twitter account for Schipol Airport had earlier posted: 'Man threatens with a bomb in Departure hall 3 at Schiphol.

'Currently departure hall 3 is being evacuated. More information will follow as soon as possible.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy.
