«Breaking News» Michelle Obama surprises 30 girls by serving them a healthy lunch in NYC before book tour appearance

Michelle Obama surprised a group of 30 girls by personally serving them lunch at the Lower Eastside Girls Club in New York City on Saturday.

The girls, who are in middle and high school, thought they were gathering at the center to hear former White House chef Sam Kass talk about healthy eating.

But when the former first lady herself rounded the corner, many of them were reduced to tears of joy, cheering and hugging each other in disbelief in video captured by ABC7.

After indulging in the healthy lunches, Obama led a discussion with the girls, who have been learning about urban farming and cooking.

The lunch had been made with produce the group is cultivation in the Club's rooftop garden.

All of the girls were also gifted with copies of Obama's new book 'Becoming', which is the best-selling book of 2018 having sold more than two million copies.

On Saturday night, Obama will address a much larger crowd at the sold out Barclays Center in Brooklyn for her book tour.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
