«Breaking News» Trump cashes in on Oval Office meltdown with 'Chuck and Nancy' fundraising appeal

President Donald Trump is seeking to monetize his extraordinary Oval Office blowup with Democratic leaders Charles Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, blasting them on the border and seeking campaign contributions of up to $2,700.

Democrats believe they scored an important political point in the angry confrontation, when Trump said he would own a shutdown, saying ''I am proud to shut down the government for border security.'

But the president's campaign team believes he can harvest the electrifying fight, which has been endlessly played on cable TV, for campaign donations.

'Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi continue to put open borders and illegal immigrants over American citizens,' Trump wrote supporters Wednesday, a day after the epic confrontation over his border wall.

'But this isn't the first time they jeopardized America's safety.'

'Look at the email I sent you almost a year ago when Chuck decided illegal immigrants come before HARD-WORKING AMERICANS. Now Democrats are STILL playing political games at the expense of the American people and our national security. NO MORE!' he wrote.

Trump also campaign repeatedly against the two leaders in the run-up to the November elections, when Democrats picked up 40 seats.

The email appeal invites backers to sign a petition directed at 'Chuck and Nancy' that demands 'Democrats finally put Americans first and FUND THE WALL.'

'President Trump is fighting to get you the Wall you voted for, but he's going up against RADICAL Democrat obstructionists,' says the funding appeal.

'Now American voters need to remind Democrats that we will NEVER forget their reckless decision,' it continues. 'Please take the next step by making a contribution.'

During their gripping televised spat, Trump told Schumer of a looming partial shutdown over his demands for a wall: 'You want to put that on [me], I'll take it.'

'I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck, because the people of this country don't want criminals and people that have lots of problems and drugs pouring into our country,' Trump continued.

'So I will take the mantle,' he said. 'I will be the one to shut it down. I'm not going to blame you for it. The last time you shut it down, it didn't work. I will take the mantle of shutting down.'

Schumer said Wednesday Trump wanted to hold the government 'hostage to a petty campaign pledge' to build a wall to 'fire up' his political base.

Trump also tweeted about the spat, writing: 'Chuck and Nancy must give us the votes to get additional Border Security!'

'The president is so used to obsequious advisers who fail to dispel his false and made-up facts that he lives in a cocoon of his own truth,' Schumer said on the Senate floor. He said he and Pelosi 'had to tell him, 'No, Mr. President that's not true. We had to puncture that cocoon.'

Pelosi mocked Trump's fixation with the wall in private comments to Democrats Tuesday. 'It's like a manhood thing for him. As if manhood could ever be associated with him. This wall thing,' she said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
