«Breaking News» Teenager smashes through garage during a driving lesson with his father after hitting wrong pedal

This is the moment a learner driver smashes his father's truck through their garage door after hitting the gas instead of the brake when pulling onto the driveway.

Dwayne Johnson shared the dash cam footage of his 15-year-old son's mishap on social media after the accident outside their home in Virginia, U.S.

As the Ford truck makes its way onto the drive everything seems under control and the atmosphere inside the car seems calm.

The 15-year-old slowly rolls the Ford truck onto the driveway and everything seems under control as the driving lesson comes to an end in Virginia

However when they're only a short distance from the garage the truck speeds up and smashes into the door, crumpling the metal as it ploughs through.

Mr Johnson can be heard shouting 'damn it' as his son says 'oh my gosh, I'm sorry dad' and his other son, 14, sits on the back seat and exclaims at what's happened.

The shocked teenager continues to apologise and the sound of a truck door opening can be heard as the short clip comes to an end.  

In the comments on his video Mr Johnson explained how his teenage son made the error of hitting the wrong pedal as they approached the driveway.

He said: 'Hit the gas instead of the brakes. Epic fail.' 

As the vehicle approaches the garage the teenager hits the gas and slams into the door

The door crumples and is completely removed from its hinges as the teenager apologies for his mistake

Dwayne Johnson shared the footage online saying: 'So this is a little video I'm sharing to all my friends who may have teens about to drive. 

'My son had his first mishap this week. Luckily everyone was ok even the Ford tough truck.... can't say much for the garage door. 

'But having this dash cam footage will bring many laughs in the future. Priceless moments.' 

Dozens of people have commented on the video and parents have empathised with the situation but said at least it'll make a funny memory.

One person wrote: 'You will look back at this and laugh. Glad no one was hurt.'

And another said: 'Just got my car back from my child’s mishap. Glad everyone is ok.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
