«Breaking News» Sylvester Stallone is joined by Arnold Schwarzenegger and son Joe

Christmas is often a time to get together with family and friends.

So perhaps it's no surprise that Sylvester Stallone's long time buddy Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Joseph Baena stopped by the night before the holiday commenced.

Sly, aged 72, looked quite content in the gathering photo, which he posted to Instagram.

The Rocky actor wore a classic white button down shirt and dark trousers.

Former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, 71, looked to be having a ball, as he apparently was enjoying a large cigar.

The Terminator star opted for a black quilted leather motorcycle jacket, black tee and dark wash jeans.

Arnold's son Joe, 21, was the most casually dressed, donning only a midnight blue sweater and dark trousers for the occasion.

Like his father, he also seemed to be enjoying a sizable cigar.

Sylvester was quite happy to have his friends come by, as he revealed in his caption: 'The big man and his son, Joseph , dropped by Christmas Eve And livened everything up!'

Of course Sly has been having a fun holiday season in general, if his social media activity is any indication.

On Christmas he posted a hilarious post involving him and his brother Frank opening gifts.

Sly also participated in some last minute shopping with his daughter, though he seemed to get quickly overwhelmed.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
