«Breaking News» Schoolchildren so used projecting a perfect image on social media it is turning them into liars

Social media is turning a generation of children into liars, according to a leading headmistress.

Sue Hincks, incoming president of the Girls’ Schools Association, said youngsters are so used to projecting a perfect image of themselves online that it is beginning to spill over into real life.

Miss Hincks, who has been head of Bolton School Girls’ Division for eight years, said: ‘If you get used to showing one image of yourself on social media, you may begin to believe that is completely aligned to reality.

‘Obviously you want to present your best self, which is fine. But you might gloss over things that are core to your identity that it’s useful for people to know. We have to tell the truth and encourage young people to present their weaknesses.’

She went on to say that stars of reality TV shows such as Love Island and I’m A Celebrity are often far better than politicians at setting an example to children.

Miss Hincks contrasted the morals and integrity of contestants on these programmes with the outrageous antics of US president Donald Trump.

She added: ‘Public figures – whether they like it or not – have a responsibility to remember that young people are watching everything they do.’

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
