«Breaking News» North Dakota man pleads NOT guilty to stripping naked in church and climbing into holy water font

A man accused of stripping naked in a church and jumping in the holy water font before masturbating in front of the congregation has pleaded not guilty. 

Zachary Burdick, 21, pleaded not guilty plea to indecent exposure and disorderly conduct on Monday in connection with the October 9 incident in Mandan, North Dakota, on the outskirts of Bismark. 

On a Tuesday shortly after 9am, police responded to a 911 call from the Spirit of Life Catholic Church, after a man entered the church and disrupted Mass by trying to bless the congregants.

After the man was escorted from the sanctuary, the priest told cops that the man, later identified as Burdick, stripped down, dipped his rear end in the baptismal font and 'splashed around a bit', according to a police affidavit.

Then, some 70 congregants looked on in horror as Burdick strutted nude down the aisle toward the altar, according to police.

One witness told cops that Burdick had his 'machinery' hanging out and was 'pumping' himself as he entered the sanctuary. Others corroborated this account.

Although there was a pre-school education program running elsewhere in the building, no children witnessed the lewd acts.  

Burdick was detained, and investigators say he told a cop: 'I am tweaking'. Burdick told police he had been using meth.

A police sergeant advised Burdick that he was not allowed to masturbate in front of others, and the chastened Burdick responded: 'especially not in church.'

Asked why he had been masturbating in church, Burdick responded that he was 'trying to bust a nut,' according to the affidavit.

The priest told police that the church would have to thoroughly clean and sanitize the Holy Water font, at an estimated cost of $500. 

A spokesperson for Spirit of Life tells DailyMail.com that Burdick was not a member of the congregation. 

After his arrest, Burdick was released on a $5,000 bond. A judge ordered him to have no contact with Spirit of Life Church and participate in a drug rehabilitation program pending trial. 

A preliminary hearing date in the case has not yet been set. 

Burdick did not immediately respond to a message from DailyMail.com, and it was unclear whether he had an attorney to speak on his behalf. 

The felony charge against him carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
