The funeral was held Sunday for Keith Caneiro, 50, his wife Jennifer 45, and their two children Jesse, 11, and Sophia, eight
The funeral has been held for the family-of-four who were murdered in their $1.5million New Jersey home before it was set on fire by a family member.
More than 100 tearful mourners laid to rest Keith Caneiro, 50, his wife Jennifer 45, and their two children Jesse, 11, and Sophia, eight, Sunday as all four bodies were cremated and their remains held in a single urn.
Keith's older brother and business partner Paul Caneiro, 51, was charged Thursday in the murders as prosecutors say he shot his brother before stabbing Jennifer and 'repeatedly' stabbing his niece and nephew in their mansion in Colts Neck, New Jersey, in the early hours of November 20.
Authorities say the murders were financially motivated after it was revealed millionaire Keith, who was the CEO of Square One, had been talking 'openly' about cutting business ties with his brother and now-suspected murderer.
Family and friends of the Caneiros were seen dressed in black and tightly embracing outside the Holmdel Funeral Home as the rain misted down.
The family issued a statement thanking the community for support and asking for privacy.
'The passing of these four beautiful people was tragic, sudden and incomprehensible,' the statement read. 'Like you, we are heartbroken.'
Obituaries described Keith as an 'altruistic' person who loved his family and spending time with them. In 2014, he graduated Columbia University but had previously built a successful tech business before ever having a bachelors degree.
He read 'three or four books a week', the obituary said, and was happiest in New Jersey or Greece, where his wife's family is from.
Jennifer was a college graduate and loving mother who was an 'active member' of the PTO at her children's school, her obituary reads.
'Jennifer loved to host family parties for every holiday at her home,' her obituary says, while her other passions were exercise, travel and going back to Greece to see her family.
Their older son Jesse was a model fifth grader who 'excelled' in history and like his father, 'enjoyed technology and learning about all the functions of the latest computers, phones and watches.'
While his younger sister Sophia was a 'vibrant and enthusiastic' third grader who loved ice skating, gymnastics and the Yankees.
The family's bodies were cremated and placed in a single urn that were on display at the Holmdel Funeral Home as mourners gathered to pay their respects

The Caneiro brothers were raised in Brooklyn with a third brother, Corey. Their father was a Spanish immigrant and they were brought up in a typical 'working class' environment, according to friends.
Keith was Paul's best man when he got married to his wife Susan in 1991 and Paul was in Keith's wedding party when he married his wife Jennifer.
The brothers have been working together since Keith founded the business in 1987.
The business in Asbury Park grew and changed its name from Jay-Martin, named in honor of the brothers' middle names, to Square One.
At some stage, they also acquired EcoStar Pest Management.
Friends and co-workers told the Times that in recent yeard, Paul was in charge of the pest management business and Keith was left to run the technology business.
Now Paul's defense lawyers say he has been wrongly accused in the death of his brother.
'He worked with his brother Keith for 31 years and he loved his sister-in-law as if she was his sister,' his attorneys say. 'Paul Caneiro participated in the lives of Jesse and Sophia from watching them at their various events at school and spending time with them frequently.'
When police arrived to Keith's burning home on November 20 they found him shot dead on the front lawn.
Jennifer had been shot and stabbed and the children had been stabbed 'repeatedly'.
Paul then went to the basement of the home to set a fire, they say.
Their bodies were badly burned and it took investigative teams days to be able to get into the house to survey the damage.
They say Paul then left the house, leaving the fire smoldering, and returned to his own home where he set another fire using cans of gasoline. He survived that fire along with his wife and their two adult daughters.
Prosecutors say the fire at his home was an attempted 'ruse' to make it look like he too had been targeted by a mysterious arsonist but was also a way for him to get rid of evidence he had brought back with him from their home.
The blaze at Keith's house was not reported until 12.38pm. Police say it was fed for several hours by oxygen blowing through the house.
'It continued to smolder until there was entry made into the home, a great deal of oxygen coming into the home effectively fed that fire.

Paul was at the home with his adult daughters and wife at the time but they all made it out alive and stayed at the scene for hours afterwards to talk to police.
He left the area at around noon. Forty minutes later, the fire at Keith's home was reported.
On November 21, Paul was charged with arson for allegedly setting fire to his own home but authorities refused to say whether he was a suspect in his brother's death or the deaths of his family.
In addition to the second degree aggravated arson charge he has been facing since last week, he is now facing four first degree murder charges, another count of aggravated arson, one count of possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose and one count of possession of a knife for an unlawful purpose.
Each one of the murder charges carries a sentence of between 30 years and life imprisonment.
On Friday, Paul made his first court appearance to plead not guilty to four counts of murder.
He was limping badly and supported by court officers as he was brought into the packed courtroom at Monmouth Superior Court in Ocean Township shortly before 9.30am.
Paul was unshaven, wearing prison-issued dark green overalls and was handcuffed around the waist, while appearing dazed and emotionless and stared straight ahead as he responded to the judge in monosyllabic 'yes' and 'no' answers.
His wife Susan and two adult daughters Marissa, 23, and Katelyn, 26, did not attend the hearing but his lawyers later said that his family were supporting him and had decided it 'better' not to be at the brief detention hearing.
Monmouth County Superior Court Judge James J. McGann began by reading Caneiro his rights and then assistant prosecutor Christopher Decker stood in front of Caneiro and read the charges against him.
His defense attorney Robert A. Honecker entered a plea of not guilty to all charges but consented to his client's continued detention. Honecker did not contest the probable cause at the hearing but said he reserved the right to challenge it at a later date.
Outside of court, defense attorneys Honecker and co-counsel Richard B. Ansell said: 'Mr Caneiro loves his brother, loves his sister-in-law like a sister, loves those children. He would never do anything to harm them.'
Paul underwent multiple surgeries around five years ago after getting into a car accident and according to friends, it changed his behavior. 'I remember the family would complain sometimes about his behavior.
'He was frustrated, but not to the point to hurt his family members,' family friend Demetris Potamianos said, emphasizing his disbelief over what Paul now stands accused of.
'It was Paul and Keith all the time. It was the perfect helpful brother relationship.
'The last thing I can ever picture is Paul doing something like that. Paul was like a father to all of them. Shocking is not the word.'
They said was a proud gun owner who had previously revealed his collection of handguns and rifles.
Neighbors of Paul's in Ocean Township told DailyMail.com afterwards that they would be surprised if he had had anything to do with his brother's murder and that they thought it was unlikely he would set fire to his own house because he was so proud of it.
They described him as being a 'big fish in a small pond' who never quite lived up to the wealth his younger brother had amassed.
'He said it must have been a gas leak, he had tears in his eyes.
'Susan was devastated,' one neighbor, who did not want to be named. 'He said, 'I'm in complete shock, I can't believe this is happening to me.'

More than 100 ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
