The father of twins allegedly killed by their mother has posted a touching image of himself holding his children against his chest before they were murdered.
Steve Ford, shared the photograph alongside a heartbreaking tribute to Jake and Chloe, who were 23-months old when they died, which read: 'I want the world to see my beautiful babies.'
Both were found dying at home in Margate, Kent on Thursday morning soon after their mother - Samantha Ford - crashed her car into a lorry.
She appeared at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court in Kent on Saturday charged with murder - where she cried as the charges were read out during the brief hearing, which lasted just a couple of minutes.
During the hearing, she was remanded in custody until today when she will appear at Maidstone Crown Court.

The court was told she was charged with two counts of murder but no other details were given.
There was no application for bail and she was remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Monday where it is expected she will appear via video link.
On Friday, forensic experts were seen removing pillows wrapped in evidence bags from the home where the two toddlers were found dying.

The 37-year-old mother allegedly crashed the family's Ford Galaxy into the back of a lorry before she was arrested.
Emergency services discovered the children after 37-year-old Samantha was pulled from the wreckage of a crash on a dual carriageway at 2.50am yesterday morning.
Officers who drove to her home on a new-build estate in Westwood near Margate, Kent found two dying children.
Ford's brother James Emptage, 27, told The Sun: 'It's a terrible tragedy. I will pay tribute but not right now.'
Her grandmother Pamela Emptage, 80, said that the two toddlers were lovely and referenced the fact that they didn't even make their second birthday, also adding that it was 'absolutely tragic'.
The youngsters were taken to hospital at around 3.35am where doctors battled to save their lives, but both were declared dead shortly after arriving.

'Something like this shocks you when it's on your doorstep.' It is not known why the mother was travelling on the London-bound carriageway of the A299 Thanet Way in the middle of the night.
She was taken to hospital with what one neighbour claimed was a broken nose, but was later discharged and taken into custody at a Kent police station.

A Kent Police spokesman said: 'Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have charged a woman with murder following the deaths of two children in Margate.
'At around 3.35am on Thursday 27 December 2018 officers attended a property in Castle Drive, Margate due to concerns for the welfare of the occupants.
'The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and two young children were taken to hospital, where they were later confirmed deceased.
'Samantha Ford, aged 37 and of Castle Drive, Margate was arrested and on 28 December, following authorisation from the Crown Prosecution Service, was charged with two counts of murder.
'She has been remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Magistrates' Court on Saturday 29 December 2018.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
