«Breaking News» Grammy nominations bumped two days for George H.W. Bush memorial

The Grammy Award nominations have been pushed back two days.

As a result, the nominations for the country's biggest music awards have been rescheduled to go public on Friday, Variety reports.

The nods in all 84 categories will be revealed at 8:45 am ET, 15 minutes after Apple Music and CBS This Morning publicize a smaller number of nominations.

This move comes after a number of shakeups to the awards were announced over the summer, including General Field categories getting eight nominations apiece.

Best new artist, song of the year, record of the year and album of the year make up the 'General Field,' and each category used to have only five nominations.

'This change will better reflect the large number of entries in these categories and allow voters greater flexibility when selecting this year’s best recordings,' said the Recording Academy's statement about the change.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
