«Breaking News» Emily VanCamp ties the knot with Revenge co-star Josh Bowman in the Bahamas

In yet another instance of life imitating art, Revenge star Emily VanCamp married her co-star Josh Bowman in the Bahamas on Saturday.

The wedding comes exactly five years to the date that their characters Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson were married in the Revenge Season 3 mid-season finale, which aired December 15, 2013.

This real-life wedding turned out much better than the show wedding, where Bowman's Grayson shot VanCamp's Thorne in the stomach shortly after the vows were exchanged.

The nuptials were confirmed by US Weekly, with VanCamp and Bowman's Revenge co-star Ashley Madekwe capturing the actress as part of an Instagram story video while on a boat.

While VanCamp didn't share any photos from the wedding, she did share a rather serene snap of her at the beach on Friday.

Revenge ran four seasons on ABC from 2011 to 2015, with the couple starting to date in 2012.

VanCamp, 32, and Bowman, 30, announced they were engaged in May 2017, with the actress telling Entertainment Tonight that he, 'did good.'

'It was in a forest,' she said. 'We were in nature on a hike kind of doing what we do, it was very, sort of, us. So yeah, it was great, beautiful.' 

VanCamp also teased in an earlier interview that she's looking forward to starting a family.

When asked about her plans for starting a family, in an interview on The Meredith Viera Show in 2014, the actress said, 'Yes, absolutely, especially when your sisters are you just want to jump on the bandwagon.'

'But I’m just happy being an auntie right now,' the actress added. 'I’m really busy and I feel like I kind of want to be the kind of mom I want to be.'

'With this schedule and playing this very tortured — exciting to play, but crazy character — I think I’ll let that happen and I’ll see where I’m at. They just make me so happy,' she added.

After Revenge went off the air in 2015, VanCamp played Sharon Carter in the 2016 superhero movie Captain America: Civil War, reprising her role from 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

She returned to the small screen in January with The Resident, which is currently in the midst of its second season.

Bowman starred in the short-lived 2017 ABC series Time After Time, which only lasted one season, and he also appeared on an episode of the current season of Doctor Who.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
