She’s just been nominated for a Golden Globe for Mary Poppins Returns so we can only imagine that Emily Blunt feels on cloud nine as she stepped out for a Q&A in New York.

The actress made sure she got noticed in this gorgeous cobalt skirt and blouse co-ordinate, which hails from the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi resort ’19 collection.

The skirt is what really caught our eye what with the blurred floral print and ruched detailing, and we think it suits Emily perfectly with the high-waist and midi length.

Click (right) to emulate Emily’s style, but pair yours with a black roll-neck or throw on a bright orange jumper to make the skirt work for this time of year.

And with her latest film already set to be hit, The Devil Wears Prada star received her sixth Golden Globes nomination for Best Actress.

'I delighted in playing every aspect of this extraordinary and iconic character,' Emily said regarding her nomination on Thursday morning.

'The entire experience working on it was spellbinding and that's largely to do with the incomparable Rob Marshall who took on this project with great love, depth and courage in his heart. I'm thrilled for Lin and for the recognition for our beautiful score as well as the film as a whole. Thank you again.'

She has also been tipped for an Oscar nod with one critic calling it 'practically perfect in every way'.

The mom-of-two's character is joined by a host of other stars in the upcoming flick, including Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

And while the end result has been raved as fantastic, Emily recently revealed it wasn't all smooth sailing as she had to overcome her fear of flying.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: 'I was particularly challenged by two aspects of the movie, which were the singing and the flying. I'm terrified of both singing and heights. I had to sing while suspended from a great height in this movie. Those days were quite traumatic but I survived and in the end, I felt quite proud. It was a cathartic experience.'

Mary Poppins Returns is set to be released in cinemas in the US on Wednesday December 19.

And ahead of her nomination, Emily Blunt stunned at the New York City screening and Q&A ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
