«Breaking News» California surfer rides the waves along flooded Oceanside street while being pulled by a van

A California surfing enthusiast found a novel way to catch a wave after thunderstorms flooded the local streets.  

Lukas Soelberg was captured on video as he surfed along the flooded streets of downtown Oceanside, California, on Thursday afternoon. 

In the clips that have surfaced online, Soelberg, wearing what appears to be a hooded sweatshirt and shorts, can be seen carefully balancing as he rides a light-colored surfboard in the wake of the white van that's towing him down the street.

Soelberg told Fox 5 San Diego that he and his father had driven through the flooded area earlier in the day and knew that they needed to return to surf it.  

The video was recorded by Dane Barry, an employee of nearby Surfride Oceanside.  

San Diego County was hit with a massive storm Wednesday that that grew in size as it traveled around the region Thursday, 10 News reported.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
