Lena Headey hit out at trolls who criticised her for not wearing make-up, after she sported a clear complexion in a video for her Instagram followers.

The Game Of Thrones star, 45, slammed the criticisers for their remarks, which saw them complain in the comment section, on Tuesday.

She shared an image of the users IDs in question, and hit back in the caption: 'I shall continue to not wear make up. Go f*** your self.'

On Tuesday, Lena shared a video where she urged fans to watch her new indie film Fighting With My Family, which she was on the press circuit to promote.

The actress, who plays Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO fantasy series, sported a clear complexion as she talked about the film.

Feeling the need to complain about her appearance, one user told her: 'Don't record yourself without makeup again', while another wrote 'shame'.

Fans took to the comment section of Lena's post to show their support for the actress, and hit out at the trolls themselves.

One user gushed: 'It's so funny, because you're totally known to be not only one of the most goreous women on television, but also for playing such an independent and powerful character. Certainly light years away from someone that would get her feelings hurt by someone being a rude little turd. Love you.

Another said: Yes Lena. You already know to let them go f*** themselves. You're amazing and your fans love you.' 

While another fan reassured Lena, as they wrote: 'Wow didn't know these people still exist. Don't mind them. You do you girl!'

And another added: 'I love your gorgeous face! With or without makeup!'

During an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday, Lena revealed that she's and her other cast members are 'ready' to do more, now that Game Of Thrones is set to end.

She explained: 'It's the end. It's the eighth season, which is bonkers. I feel totally chuffed - should I translate that?'

'It just means really happy – to have been part of something like that for so long. I think everyone's ready to kind of do new stuff. But I think until it's over-over, I won't know how I feel.'

Game Of Thrones returns with its eighth and final season on April 14.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
