Rita Ora did her best to walk off her inevitable jet-lag on Thursday afternoon as she ventured out in Melbourne just hours after arriving in the Australian city to open her world tour.
The 28-year old singer wore a check summer dress and black leather boots for a stroll along the picturesque Yarra River on Melbourne’s Southbank.
Rita added to her look with a colourful woollen beanie hat, while heavily tinted sunglasses partially concealed her instantly recognisable features.

The singer looked understandably tired after flying to Melbourne, where she will begin her Phoenix World Tour, from Los Angeles earlier that day.
Her first show will take place at the city's Palais Theatre on March 1, with further concerts taking place in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth before the tour moves onto south-east Asia.

The Kosovo born British star chose to launch her anticipated tour in Australia as a than k you to the loyal fans who have supported her during her previous visits to the country.
Speaking to Confidential, she said: 'I have become so touched by Australia and I love my fans over there.'
Rita has had multiple hits in Australia and was last in the country for the ARIA awards in November, where she performed her hit Let You Love Me.

The singer also presented Best Pop Release alongside singer Keith Urban at the annual broadcasting event.
Rita's latest album, Phoenix, has been touted as a comeback, with its final track, Soul Survivor, described as the artist's favourite.
'I think the message of that song came across so brilliantly ... It's all about surviving, not letting people stamp on you and coming through as a survivor,' she explained.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
