«Breaking News» Wayne Rooney enjoys a wild night out in LA after THAT boozy airport arrest

Wayne Rooney hit the town with his pals at Delilah, in Los Angeles on Friday, shortly after his drunken airport arrest.

The footballer could lose £6 million per year in sponsorship deals as a repercussion of his arrest for public intoxication at Washington's Dulles International Airport.

Yet the troubled goalscorer, 33, put the latest scandals out of his mind as he partied the night away while he takes time away from Coleen, 32.

Wayne looked sharp in a blue blazer which smartened up his baseball cap and jeans when he enjoyed a night off parenting duties.

Meanwhile, Coleen stayed at home with their brood: two-year-old Kai, nine-year-old Klay, five-year-old Kit and one-year-old Cass.

It comes after Wayne's bosses at DC United reportedly hauled him in for a meeting to explain his December 16 arrest for public intoxication.

Footballer Wayne's arrest at Washington's Dulles International Airport has also reportedly led to fears that he has jeopardised a whopping £6million per year in sponsorship deals as he weathers the fallout from his latest scandal.

It has been said that there are millions on the line from his various lucrative endorsement deals, which add to the sportsman's already well-padded pockets.

He has inked deals with Nike, for which he is believed to be paid £1million per year for up to five years; a £5million five-book deal with HarperCollins, and contracts for unspecified sums with marketing firm Octagon and Mayfair Home Furniture.

In addition to this, he signed a tidy £10million deal with DC United, spanning three-and-a-half years — but his cashflow risked seeing a dip after his recent arrest.

A source told The Sun that MLS are 'disappointed', adding: 'Both Wayne and Coleen know that advertisers will walk away if there’s any question marks over his behaviour. In the US, image is so important.'

Sources also told the newspaper that Coleen is concerned about how things will be for Wayne once he finally retires from life as a full-time footballer.

'Coleen can’t help but worry about how Wayne will fill his time,' said the source. 'He’s a nice lad, but a liability when he has a drink. She is always upset when he does something very public that humiliates her and the family.

'She knows she is being judged just as much as him. It’s something she can’t change and it drives her mad.'

He was arrested by Washington police officer Cpl. J.A. Spina and charged with public intoxication and released on a personal recognisance bond - and court proceedings had been booked for January 24.

But they were dropped when the striker, who earns $2.78million (£2.18million) a year, paid a $25 (£19.65) fine with his credit card after he was released.

'He accepted his guilt and that was one of the conditions of his release' said a source.

He agreed to pay the fine before he was due to be brought before a court on January 24 and paid the fine in an online payment, it was revealed.

Under Virginian law, 'profane swearing and intoxication in public' is seen as a 'class four misdemeanour' - a minor crime, punishable in DC by a fine of up to $250 (£196).

While flying back to Washington, he took sleeping pills and consumed alcohol, his spokesman said, making him 'disorientated' upon arrival.

'During the flight Wayne took a prescribed amount of sleeping tablets mixed with some alcohol consumption and consequently was disorientated on arrival,' the spokesman said.

'He was approached by police who arrested him on a minor misdemeanour charge.  He received a statutory automatic fine and was released shortly afterwards at the airport. The matter is now at an end.

'Wayne would like to put on record his appreciation for the manner he was treated by all involved.'

It was revealed on Wednesday that Coleen misses the support of her family back home in the UK 'terribly' as she recovers from a 'testing time' following Wayne's arrest.

A source exclusively told MailOnline that while the WAG is happy to be supporting her husband, she is finding it difficult being separated from her family as she looks after her children.

They said: 'They (the family) are happy there aside from Coleen missing her family terribly, as any mum with four young kids would when they've been used to that level of support.

Coleen is known for her close bond with her family, including mother Colette, who in the UK lived down the road from the family, meaning she was there to help.

Devoted mum Coleen has been vocal about not wanting to hire nannies to help with the boys, with the source adding: 'Coleen has always mothered the boys with no outside help and has been proud and happy to keep it in the family.'

Commenting on the effect of Wayne's arrest on the family, the source said: 'Obviously the recent situation was a little testing, as it would be for any family, but Coleen let it go pretty quickly.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
