«Breaking News» TSA agent puts his house up 'For Sale' because of the shutdown

A TSA employee, Miguel Pagarigan, who commutes around 40 miles to work every day says he's put a 'For Sale' sign on his house as the financial toil of the government shutdown takes hold.

Pagarigan, was comforted by newly elected California Governor Gavin Newsom at the Sacramento International Airport, on Thursday.

Because of the shutdown and ... not being paid I had to put a 'For Sale' sign on my house on Sunday,' Pagarigan said crying, as reported by NPR.

Pagarigan, who travels from Vacaville, California each day, added he doesn't know how long he can go on without pay.

Newsom announced as he met with TSA workers at the airport Thursday that  California will offer workers unemployment coverage, despite the federal government telling the state it can't do so for workers still on the job.

President Trump's labor department sent out instructions saying that states can't legally offer unemployment insurance benefits to federal employees who are required to report to work without pay during the shutdown.

The Trump administration does not appear to be opposing unemployment benefits for federal workers who are staying home during the shutdown.

Federal workers considered essential and compelled to work without pay are ineligible for unemployment benefits 'because states may determine that they are still fully employed.'

Newsom's appearance at the airport followed a protest by around two dozen federal workers there a day earlier.

On Wednesday Trump signed into law a bill providing back dated pay after the shutdown to all federal workers.

In Connecticut, three Democrats, Senators Richard Blumenthal, Chris Murphy, and Rep. Rosa DeLauro wrote a letter to Labor Secretary Alex Acosta calling on him to 'expeditiously' allow states to provide benefits.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
