«Breaking News» Pointer Sisters' Bonnie, 68, loses her lunch during private party performance in Hollywood

The show must go on - just ask Pointer Sisters' star Bonnie.

The Oakland, California R&B artist endured a minor performance mishap when she got sick and threw up in her hand during a private performance at the historic Wattles Mansion in Hollywood on Saturday.

Proving her dedication to her craft, the I'm So Excited songstress, who is 68, pulled herself together almost immediately and was able to hit sing the opening verse of the song without hesitation.

Bonnie was a vision of glamour before the incident, where she was elegantly clad in a fur vest and sparkling silver jumpsuit.

Her set started with a soulful number, but then mid-song the singer had to pause.

Then, the soul/funk artist stepped aside, before vomiting in her hand.

But Bonnie quickly recovered, stepping right back on stage as the track transitioned into the Pointers' super-hit I'm So Excited.

The Grammy-winning singer looked unfazed by her sickness as she danced a bit before breaking into the first verse of the 1984 bop.

And while Bonnie did her best to recover, she had to step aside for a second time.

Luckily the singer had a cheerful emcee to take the reigns for her as she stepped aside to deal with her sudden sickness.

Bonnie and sister June first formed The Pointer Sisters in 1969. Over time their sisters Anita and Ruth joined the act.

At the height of their popularity between 1973 and 1985, the sister-act had 13 top 20 hits in the US.

Bonnie left the group in 1978 to pursue a solo career.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
