And newlyweds Miley Cyrus, 26, and Liam Hemsworth, 29, looked every inch the lovebirds as they attended the 16th Annual G’Day USA Gala in the Culver City neighborhood of Los Angeles on Saturday evening.
The Hunger Games star was among three Australians honored on the night for their achievements in the creative arts.

The acclaimed Aussie actor went solo as he walked the red carpet, while his new bride elected to side-steep the photo-fest and slip into the event through another door, according to Australia's Hunter Valley News.
Eventually the couple met back up at their assigned table, where they kept things real snug and cosy together for much of the event.
The pop superstar showed off her lean curves and assorted tattoos in a black velvet dress with a plunging neckline.
She matched the number with a pair of black heels and wore her dirty-blonde tresses long but pulled back off of her face with a part to the slight right.

For his part, Liam donned a very stylish fitted black suit, white dress shirt and a skinny black tie that looked like something out of the early 1980s.
Later in the show, the Melbourne born star was given the G’Day USA Excellence in Film award in recognition of outstanding performances in films including The Hunger Games and Independence Day: Resurgence.
Renowned Australian singer Helen Reddy and Games Of Thrones production designer Deborah Riley were also honored at the gala for their outstanding artistry.

G’Day USA is a program that aims to foster deeper economic ties and promote Australian ideas, talent and innovation in the United States.
This year's gala also showcased premium Australian food and wine with a menu curated by Australian chef Curtis Stone. Award-winning Australian actor and comedian Patrick Brammall held down the hosting duties for the awards show and dinner.
Miley and Liam's fairytale romance began in 2009, when they met on the set of coming of age drama The Last Song.
They announced their engagement in 2012 but broke up the following year. They rekindled their relationship in 2016 and Miley was pictured wearing her ring again. On December 23, they got married in Tennessee, surrounded by family and friends.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
