«Breaking News» Migrant who sneaked in to Britain arrested just hours later after wandering into a PRISON by mistake

A suspected illegal migrant who sneaked into Britain in the back of a lorry wandered into prison just hours later and was arrested.

The man crept out of a lorry park but accidentally walked straight into an open prison where he was detained by staff.

He was seen wandering around the sports field at Thorn Cross prison in Warrington, Cheshire, the Sun reported. 

A source told the newspaper he got out of the lorry when it parked and was 'shocked' when told he was in a prison. 

Police officers arrested the man on suspicion of illegally coming into the country.

Thorn Cross is an open prison that can hold 381 male prisoners and does have fences.

It is thought the migrant came into Britain on a lorry via a port, but it is not known which one.

Warrington is around 20 miles from Liverpool which has a port in Birkenhead that runs services to Belfast.  

The Prison Service confirmed: 'Police were called to HMP Thorn Cross after a man was discovered in the grounds of the open prison.' 

The category D prison has also reportedly seen friends of inmates throwing food such as steak, sausages, fish and bacon over the fences due to the 'awful' meals in August last year. 

In 2014 two inmate escaped from Thorn Cross and went on the run. 

Staff at Thorn Cross jail saw the man wandering around the sports field and detained him until police arrived 

Anthony Peloe, 43, who was serving an indeterminate sentence for possessing firearms with intent to cause harm and convicted robber John Arnold, 30, walked out of the open prison. 

Peloe was found sleeping in a barn and later told Liverpool Crown Court he went on the run because he owed a fellow convict money for cigarettes.  

The jail was also at the centre of a row over sex offenders being housed at the prison despite it being near a primary school. 

The Ministry of Justice announced the plans to move the inmates to Thorn Cross would be dropped after residents complained.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
