This is the heartwarming moment an emergency dispatcher helped an Indiana boy who called 911 to report 'a bad day at school' and ended up solving his math equation.
Antonia Bundy told the youngster 'we're always here to help' after he said he had a 'ton of homework' and was struggling with fractions.
Lafayette police released an audio recording of the call on Twitter in which the boy says: 'I'm sorry for calling you, but I really needed help.'
Antonia narrowed down that he was having trouble with fractions and helped the child solve the equation: three-fourths plus one-fourth. She had him take out a piece of paper to figure out the answer: one.

When asked about his emergency the boy replies: 'I had a really bad day and, I don't know.'
Antonia, who has been a dispatcher since April 2016, patiently questions: 'You had a bad day at school?'.
'Yeah', the boy, who has not been identified, answers, 'I just came to tell you that'.
Police tweeted: 'Our dispatchers never know what the next call might be. They train for many emergency situations, homework help is not one they plan for.
'We don't recommend 911 for homework help but this dispatcher helped a young boy out and brightened his day.'

Lafayette Police Sergeant Matt Gard said: 'We get a lot of unusual call requests but this one kind of stood out. She's very much a dedicated employee, it doesn't surprise us that she goes above and beyond on a regular basis.'
Police are now trying to find the boy - who cannot be identified as his cell phone cannot be traced - 'to make sure everything is good'.
Gard, who said officers think they know the school he attends, added: 'He's not going to be in trouble.'
He told Inside Edition: 'He didn't sound like he was in good spirits. That, in itself, that's what we're trained to do. We're trained to help people in their worst time.'
Bundy said: 'Thankfully I was able to dedicate the time to help him. I hope I didn't give him the wrong answer and I hope he had a better day.'
She told WTHR: 'I never had a child call in for math help before so it was a first for me.'
Police say they don't recommend calling 911 for homework help.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
