A ghost boat that was missing at sea for nine years has resurfaced after it was abandoned by a teenage girl trying to set an around-the-world sailing record.
The boat, known as 'Wild Eyes', had been roaming the sea since June 2010, when it was discarded by American sailor Abby Sunderland as she attempted the record aged 16.
The teenager had been forced to abandon her boat due to equipment faults and bad weather.

Abby's (pictured) 2010 attempt to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world was unsuccessful
Wild Eyes was stripped of its equipment and left to aimlessly drift on waters in the Indian Ocean.
However, the boat's wreckage was sighted again in waters off Kangaroo Island on New Year's Eve at 12.30pm, covered in sea barnacles, Adelaide Now reported.
The ghost boat had managed to stay afloat all those years.
Abby's 2010 attempt to become the youngest person to sail solo around the world was unsuccessful after she encountered high winds and multiple knockdowns in a remote area of the Indian Ocean.
She was rescued by French and Australian authorities, which cost an estimated $300,000.
The young girl first set sail from California on January 23, 2010, but was forced to stop down the coast in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, because of problems generating enough solar power.

After repairs to Wild Eyes, she set sail again in February 2010, taking three months to reach Cape Town where she stopped for more repairs.
During the trip from Mexico to South Africa, she became the youngest ever sailor to pass Cape Horn - the southernmost tip of South America.
On June 10, 2010, as Abby headed through the Indian Ocean north east of the Kerguelen Islands, her yacht was struck by wild winds, forcing her to trigger two emergency beacons after her satellite phone failed.
More than 4,700 miles (7,600km) from the west coast of Australia, the young sailor spent a night alone at sea in her stricken boat before the Australian Maritime Safety Authority could reach her in a Qantas search plane.
She was rescued on June 12 by a French fishing ship before being taken to Reunion Island, a French island off the east coast of Madagascar, so she could be flown home.
Her ordeal was later turned into a film and Abby also went on to write a book about her experience, with both released in 2011.

Link hienalouca.com Interesting to note Looking for an investor or sponsor for a project to grow dinosaurs and relict plants. Requires the sum of investments from 400000$ to 900000$. The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
