She continued: 'This year, Jesse and I hit a rough patch - he was away, touring relentlessly, [with his band, Reef].

'I was trying to keep my own career going while looking after our kids and we were both desperately clinging on to our marriage.'

The couple's problems eventually came to a head with a two-hour 'screaming match' where they worried their 'love had gone'.

After the lengthy row, which took place in a local park, the pair broke down crying but the former Top Of The Pops host credits her 42-year-old husband's emotional side for them being so honest with each other.

On Friday, Fearne posted a photo of her husband reading the paper in which she shared a touching caption.

She wrote: 'Today we had a rare moment of space without our dreamy kiddos screaming at us and we chatted up a beautiful storm.

'After 8 years together we learned new stuff about each other. Never stop wanting to learn new stuff about your partners and friends.

'There’s so much to explore. He’s now bored of me and reading the back pages but my god I love this man @jessejameswood.'

She added: 'In the midst of this gargantuan row, I think we both wondered where the love had gone and worried that it might not come back.'

Thankfully, the couple were able to work through their differences and their relationship is now even stronger and believe they're found a 'deeper kind of love'.

The loved-up duo, who met in 2012 and married two years later are parents to Rex, five, and three-year-old Honey.

The honest account comes as Fearne recently spoke out after announcing she had quit the comedic panel series Celebrity Juice last month, after ten years and 20 series on the ITV2 show.

She said: 'I don't feel like a grown up at all, I did ten brilliant years there, 20 series and I loved it so so much, but I think you need to have change a shake-up in life every now and again to have that feeling of being scared again.

'It was the same when I left Radio 1 so it's very much with that sort of feeling attached to it.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
