«Breaking News» Alexandra Burke reveals she and fiancé Josh Ginnelly are STILL yet to set a wedding date

She previously gushed she's 'never felt this kind of love before' following her engagement to her long-term boyfriend in January last year.

But Alexandra Burke has revealed she and fiancé Josh Ginnelly are taking things slow as they are still yet to set a date for their wedding.

In a new interview with Hello! magazine, the Bad Boys hitmaker, 30, insisted she plans to travel the world and focus on her singing career before tying the knot with the stage manager.

The songstress, who currently stars as leading character Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard tour, told the publication: ' I always did say it wouldn't happen in 2019 because I knew I wanted to work and there's a lot more that I want to do before I get married.

'It's about enjoying this moment in life - we want to travel a little bit more before settling down. And there's no time to plan anything!'

Ensuring she's in control of her big day, Alexandra added: 'I'm not handing over my life to a wedding planner as I want to be a part of it all and make sure that Josh and I are happy with everything.'

While the Strictly star insists she 'loves' working in theatre, she admitted her stint on the road has been time-consuming, and would like to focus on other projects in the near future.

The X Factor 2008 winner released her third studio album, The Truth Is, in March last year, though was forced to cancel her subsequent tour due to 'timing issues'. 

Meanwhile, Alexandra recently reflected on the moment Joshua popped the question as they drove around Paris, confessing he had to wake her up in the car as she was exhausted from the Strictly final just days earlier.

In an interview on ITV's Lorraine, she shared: 'We were driving around Paris and I was so knackered, but then he woke me up with the ring. 

'It's just magical being engaged it's so amazing.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
