The boyfriend of a slain Louisiana cop and two alleged accomplices have been arrested for her vicious murder after she was fatally shot leaving home for work.
Officer Chateri Payne, 22, had just graduated from the police academy two months ago and was outside a Shreveport home in uniform on January 9 when she was fatally shot.
She was heading to work on the night shift when a hail of bullets was fired her way and she was shot four times, including once in the head.
Shreveport Police announced Monday evening they arrested three people in connection to her slaying - her boyfriend and the father of her child Treveon Anderson, 26; Glenn Fierson, 38; and Lawrence Pierre, 22.

They will be charged with second degree homicide in her death. Police have not released a motive in her death.
Shreveport Police Chief Ben Raymond revealed during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon that Treveon Anderson was the boyfriend of Officer Payne and they shared a baby girl together.
He called 911 to report her injuries and was questioned by police afterwards.
He claimed to have been inside the home with the child when gunfire rang out and he exited the home and shot 'at a person wearing all white clothing who he believed to be the suspect'.
But after investigators and detectives collected evidence from the scene, it pointed to Anderson as the killer.
'We believe Anderson shot and killed her and concocted the false narrative of her being murdered by an unknown suspect. Two other men have been charged in connection with the murder as well,' Chief Raymond said.
'We are still mourning the heinous murder of Office Payne but thanks to these men and women we can have some peace in taking three evil cowards off the streets so they cannot harm anyone else,' he added.

Pierre told police the three men are all cousins. It is also not clear if they too opened fire. They've been labeled as accomplices.
Pierre told police after his arrest that he was present for the shooting and Anderson was the gunman, according to The Shreveport Times.
It's also not immediately clear why Anderson pulled the trigger on his girlfriend.
The weapon, a .40 caliber handgun, used in the killing was also found by police.
Payne was shot around 8.20pm on Wednesday and was rushed to the hospital where she later succumbed to her wounds about two hours later.
Police haven't confirmed whether the Caddo Heights home she was hurt in front of was hers.
A total of 54 first responder units were said to have rushed to the scene to try and assist.
Payne graduated from the police academy on November 16. She leaves behind a young daughter according to KSLA.

Funeral services will be held for the slain officer this weekend. The investigation is ongoing.
The Shreveport Police Officers Association page paid tribute Payne after her death, calling her 'one of their own'.
'The Shreveport Police Officers Association would like to thank the Citizens of Shreveport for their prayers and their genuine sympathy shown to us at this critical time,' a statement on Facebook read.
'We have lost one of our own. She was young, and she was beautiful.
'She was proving herself to be a capable professional, dedicated to serving the Citizens of Shreveport.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
