«Breaking News» Tragedy as girl, 20, dies in her mother's arms after collapsing on a night out

Friends and neighbours desperately tried to save the life of a young woman who 'fell ill' at a party - carrying her home to her mother before she died.

Aimee Letters, 20, is understood to have fell ill at the party on Wednesday before her friends carried her to her mother's house which is nearby in Dumbarton, Scotland.

Medics had been called to her mother's house in the Renton area of Dumbarton but they were unable to save her and she died of a suspected drug overdose.

Reports suggest that her mother's partner even tried to desperately resuscitate her, despite having a broken arm.

Police Scotland said the death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the cause of death.

Aimee was rushed to Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital after neighbours scrambled to paramedics at her mother's house, a short walk from the party she was at.

She was soon declared dead and one neighbour described the scene wherein she was stretchered out of her mother's house after the attempt to save her life.

He told the Daily Record: 'Two neighbours practically carried Aimee into the house. Next thing I heard a bang at my window, it was another neighbour asking me to call an ambulance.

'By that point one was on its way, the whole time I didn't know what was going on but there was so much panic.

'Next thing I saw Aimee being carried out on the stretcher and I was devastated.'

Family member, Donna Letters, paid tribute to the 'beautiful' young woman on a Crowdfunding page set up to raise money for the family.

The accompanying message from Donna said: 'Such a beautiful girl with a world of potential.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
