«Breaking News» Romeo Beckham cosies up to Harper in adorable family photo as he brands her the 'best sister ever'

He loves to share pictures on social media of himself being trained by tennis stars.

But Romeo Beckham delighted fans on Thursday, as he took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of himself and his little sister Harper on holiday together.

In the snap, the aspiring tennis player, 16, sported a pair of navy patterned swim shorts and a baseball cap worn back-to-front atop his head, with a long gold pendant around his neck.

Harper, seven, looked adorable in a floaty yellow bikini and a towel wrapped around her waist, while her brother placed a loving arm around her shoulder. 

With her hair still damp from her swim, the daughter of David and Victoria Beckham had her brunette tresses styled into sweet bunches.  

The siblings stood in front of a breathtaking seaside backdrop for the photo, and both smiled sweetly into the camera's lens. 

Romeo captioned the cute snap: 'Best sister ever,' followed by a simple heart.

Romeo's adorable photo comes after their father David took to Instagram to post a sweet snap of himself kissing his seven-year-old daughter on the lips, leading to a flurry of comments from trolls claiming such a gesture was 'wrong.'  

However, the vast majority of the 43-year-old star's loyal followers soon rushed to his defence.

Fans were keen to set the trolls right, sticking up for the devoted father-of-four, who also raises children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 13, with his wife Victoria.   

It wasn't the first time David had come under fire for sharing a photo of himself kissing daughter on the lips. 

Last year, David was forced to defend his decision, insisting that he and his wife Victoria are 'always very affectionate' towards their brood of four.

The sports star had hit back at his critics while taking part in a Facebook Live on his own official page during a trip to Bangkok, and insisted he kisses all of his children on the lips - aside from his eldest son Brooklyn. 

He had been pictured kissing his little girl on the lips, as they cuddled up for a selfie during a family Safari trip they had taken in Tanzania.

While many had branded the picture 'beautiful' and a depiction of the 'close bond' he has with Harper, David was also hit with a barrage of negative comments as others claimed the post had been 'disgusting'. 

Baffled by the strong reaction it received, David addressed his photo with Harper and said: 'I kiss all my kids on the lips.' 

'Brooklyn maybe not. Brooklyn is 18, so he might find that a little strange, but I'm very affectionate with the kids.' 

'We want to show our kids love': He also spoke out in defence of Victoria's shot of herself and Harper that had sparked a wide debate on social media last year

'It's how I was brought up - and Victoria - and it's how we are with our children.'

The former England captain continued: 'We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them and support them.'

Gushing about his role as a father, David added: 'Having children is the most special thing in the world.'

Like David, Victoria had too shared a photo of herself kissing Harper while the duo were taking a dip in the pool together during a holiday taken last year. 

Her photo had sparked a wide debate, as again, the fashion designer's social media followers had struggled to agree on the nature of the post.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
