The husband of late BBC radio presenter Rachael Bland has shared a glimpse inside the first family Christmas without her.
Steve Bland, from Cheshire, took to Instagram over the festive period to share a sweet picture of him and their three-year-old son Freddie in matching onesies.
The proud father put on a brave face with the little boy as he thanked his sister for making them look like the 'coolest family in the whole of the north', thanks to the patterned pyjamas.
In another snap, he revealed he was enjoyed a glass of wine while he listened to the Girls vs Cancer podcast, presented by Rachel's friend Lauren Mahon, by the fire, his wedding ring clearly visible in the post.
Rachael, presenter of award-winning podcast You, Me and The Big C, which documented her battle with breast cancer, tragically died in September, aged just 40.

Spending the festive period at home in the Lake District, Steve posted a snap as he enjoyed a glass of wine while he listened to a Girls versus Cancer podcast by the fire, his wedding ring clearly visible in the post.
Steve kicked off the festive week with a visit to Manchester's indoor ski slope Chill Factore, writing: 'What a brilliant afternoon we had meeting Santa and playing in the snow'.
He then revealed he was driving home to the Lake District for Christmas, and shared a snap as he packed up the car with their Labrador dog Lord Bodie.
And on Christmas Day he posted a picture of their pet pooch enjoying a walk on Tan Hill, North Yorkshire, captioning the snap: 'Poser! Nowhere I’d rather be at Christmas. Scenery like nowhere else in the world.'
The proud father finished the day by cosying up with Freddie in the onesies, writing: 'Matching PJs for us this Christmas. Thanks to little sister for making sure we are without doubt the coolest family in the whole of the north'.
And sharing a snap as the little boy built a castle, he joked: 'Playmobil have got a lot to answer for. Took me bloody ages to build this castle! I’m pretty sure Fred will destroy it before the week is out.'

The more upbeat posts came as he shared a snap of Freddie in front of their tree in mid-December, admitting their annual tradition of picking out the festive fir had been tough.
He wrote: 'Missed Rach more than ever today. We went to the same farm where every year the three of us - and before that, the two of us - used to go.
'Didn’t feel the same. There were no arguments about what size to get or whether the one I liked was too bushy at the bottom and too sparse at the top.
He added: 'This little guy helped and between us we figured out how to decorate it too! So, the Bland family Christmas is well and truly on, just as Rach would have wanted.'
The post came just weeks after Steve shared his sadness at picking their Christmas tree without Rachael for the first time, as he faced the first festive season without her
Despite what undoubtedly be a tough first Christmas for Steve and little Freddie, they will be looking forward to the New Year when Rachael's memoirs are to be released as a book
Despite what undoubtedly be a tough first Christmas, Steve will be looking forward to the New Year when Rachael's memoirs are to be released as a book.
Throughout her journey Rachael had been keeping a memoir including letters for her young son to open on milestone days such as his eighteenth birthday.
Last month Steve took to Rachael's Instagram to share a picture of Rachael raising a glass of champagne, revealing her memoir would be published in February 2019.
He wrote: 'Hi folks, it’s Steve. Just wanted to share some wonderful news with you all.
'We’re raising a glass to our beautiful girl today because we have found a fantastic publisher for her book.'
Shortly before her death Bland poignantly revealed she had wrapped 18 years worth of birthday presents for three-year-old son Freddie so he had a gift from her until he was 21.
The BBC 5 Live newsreader had also built up a collection of handwritten notebooks, perfume and other personal items so the little boy would grow up knowing how his mother wrote, smelled and sounded once she was gone.
Just six weeks after she passed away, Rachael's podcast won the Best New Show award at the Audio, Radio and Industry Awards (ARIAs).
Steve collected the award on her behalf and said it would have 'meant the world to her' in an emotional speech.
Joining Steve on stage were Rachael's show co-hosts Lauren Mahon and Deborah James, as well as the show's producer Mike Holt, who touchingly dedicated the award to Rachael's husband and their three-year-old son Freddie.
Rachael had won praise for You, Me and the Big C and its honest portrayal of the realities of living with cancer.
Alongside friends Deborah James and Lauren Mahon, Bland documented her cancer from first discovery, to being told it was incurable in May of this year, to finally being warned there were just days left.
She spoke to HuffPost UK before her announcement at the beginning of September which confirmed she only had a few days to live.
Rachael died at the beginning of September aged 40, following an inspirational two-year public battle with cancer.
The mother from Cheshire, who had triple negative breast cancer, moved thousands of people who hailed her bravery and dignity as she fought terminal illness.

The proud ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
