«Breaking News» Pizza delivery man, 38,eats nothing but mints for three MONTHS

A pizza delivery man who identifies as a 'breatharian' claims to survive on just 100 calories a week.

According to Khai Ho, 38, from Birkenhead, near Liverpool - who claims he has never felt hunger and that food has never appealed to him - meditation helps him to absorb all the nutrients he needs from air.

Khai, who weighs 13st, said that he would often refuse his mother's meals as a child, but over the last four years Hindu meditation has allowed him to give up food for three months at a time - consuming only mints to alleviate any 'bitter taste' in his mouth.

Despite fasting for long periods of time, the pizza delivery driver says that he never struggles to resist the food he delivers to customers - and that he has never been happier or healthier.

Khai, who said his lifestyle keeps him alert, claims to drink water sparingly - sometimes only once a week.

Speaking about his lifestyle choice, he said: 'I felt that this was something that I should have done my whole life.

'I have never really felt hunger and never took much interest in food as a child.

'My mum was always worried about me and still is, she often cooks for me and I have to tell her not to bother as I won't touch it.

'I could never really embrace that state of consciousness that I was after until about four years ago when it became more serious.'

Khai has no regrets about giving up the grub, although it can be a little awkward when meeting in social situations as he 'just sits there'

Recalling how his unusual diet began, he continued: 'Before that I was maybe eating every three or four days but now I can go months without food and even then only have a mint or so to take away any bitter taste in my mouth.

'It's an amazing feeling, I'm fully conscious of my mind and I've never felt so great. I'm fully aware of my surroundings.

'People think I'm crazy but incredible at the same time.'

Khai claims that he gathers his nutrients from the sunlight around him and that he can even take in moisture that he needs from the air.

Inedia or breatharianism is the belief that it is possible for a person to live without consuming food or water.

And the 38-year-old claims that since embracing this unusual way of life that he now looks half his age and that a previous liver problems has also improved thanks to his prolonged periods of fasting.

He said: 'It made me very aware of my surroundings and so awake that I often struggle to sleep.

'I suffered from pain with a liver problem and that has now gone thanks to meditation and fasting.

'I now know how to heal the human body internally and naturally from many major diseases.

'I never feel weighed down but people must be guided in this way of life as you can never be sure how others may reacted to it.

'The advice is that men need 2,500 calories a day to survive but I have proven the experts wrong.'

Khai has no regrets about giving up the grub, although it can be a little awkward when meeting in social situations, but says that if he was to met the love of his life he would at least give a romantic meal a try.

He said: 'When I meet up with friends I normally arrange to do something else like shopping or going for walks as when we go for food I sit there while everyone else tucks in.

'I would never try and stop people eating around me because everyone is free to do as they want.

'If I were to go for a romantic meal I would have to at least give it a try and that wouldn't be very fair on my date.

'I do save a lot of money though as I never have to do any food shopping.

'It's a miracle that you can live this way but I'm living proof.'

What is a Breatharian diet?

Breatharianism is the belief that humans can survive solely on light and air, with no food and sometimes even no water.

Followers of the unapproved movement claim that meditation has helped their bodies gain all the nutrition they need from sunlight.

Also known as Inedia, (Latin for 'fasting'), followers believe humans can be sustained solely by prana, the vital life force in Hinduism.

Followers, who claim to need less sleep and say they have a sharper mind, begin with a 21 day fast, during which nothing is consumed for the first seven days except air, and for the remaining 14 days they survive on some water and diluted juice.

However the diet has been described as 'highly dangerous' and even associated with eating disorders and cults.

In 1997 kindergarten teacher Timo Degan died after trying the Breatharian plan, and in 1999 49-year-old woman Verity Linn was found dead in Scotland after attempting the Breatharian conversion.

The NHS recommends a daily intake of 2,000 calories for women and 2,500 calories for men, and says: 'Eating a healthy, balanced diet is an important part of maintaining good health, and can help you feel your best.

'Within a healthy, balanced diet, a man needs around 10,500kJ (2,500kcal) a day to maintain his weight. For a woman, that figure is around 8,400kJ (2,000kcal) a day.

'These values can vary depending on age, metabolism and levels of physical activity, among other things.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
