«Breaking News» Mother's anguish as daughter takes her own life after boyfriend

A mother has shared her anguish after her daughter took her own life just hours after her boyfriend was killed in tragic circumstances.

Dawn Robinson posted the heart-wrenching tribute to Facebook on Monday.

'I am devastated to let everyone know that my beautiful daughter was so distraught she could not bear to live without her beloved Jase and chose to take her own life.'

Alice Robinson was found dead in 'non-suspicious circumstances' in Mount Hawthorn in Perth on the weekend.

The discovery of her body came 24 hours after her boyfriend Jason Francis was run down by a teenage Domino's delivery driver while lying on a road in Perth outside their home after a big day of drinking.

'My husband and I now grieve for the loss of two wonderful people that brought light to everyone's life,' Dawn said in the Facebook post.

'RIP my gorgeous girlie.'

Mr Francis had been out drinking with friends on Saturday night.

A taxi was ordered to take home the 29-year-old and the driver dropped him off near the man's home, WA Today reported.

The man, who had only recently moved from the UK to Australia with his girlfriend-of-eight-years, laid down on the curb outside his Stanley Street apartment at Scarborough with his legs partially stretched out on the road.

At about 8pm a Domino's Pizza delivery driver reversed a Volks Wagen Jetta, without seeing Mr Francis.

Neighbour Matt Pilat said three girls witnessed the incident.

He said they had tried to warn the driver about the sprawled out man on the side of the road.

'I heard them say that someone had been hit and they got out and called 000,' he said.

With bystanders stunned, Mr Pilat and the driver performed CPR on the man under the direction of the ambulance officer on the phone.

'We didn't stop CPR until the cops got there and then they took over,' the 33-year-old said.

Two ambulances arrived on scene and the defibrillator was used on the man twice, according to Mr Pilat.

Mr Francis was transported to Royal Perth Hospital, but later died from his injuries.

Major Crash is now investigating the fatality and ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash or seen Mr Francis to come forward.

Mr Francis' partner Alison Robinson was at the couple's home when the accident happened.

She was later at Mr Francis' bedside before he passed away.

Friends of Ms Robinson tried to console her but couldn't get in contact with her following the death.

They had expressed concerns over their friend because she didn't answer her phone.

Mr Francis was a keen rugby union player for the Cottesloe Rugby Union Football Club, whose president shared an emotional tribute.

'Jase and Alice had only been at the club for a short time but had already ingrained themselves into the 3rd grade and 4th grade families,' club president Sam Diamond wrote.

'They could both be found at the multitude of offseason BBQ's where Jase would always do his best impression of a competitive eater whilst Alice filled our hearts with her infectious laugh.

'These are two beautiful souls that we have lost far to (sic) early, and were loved like family.'

Mr Francis' club back in the UK also paid tribute to the young sportsman, remembering him as being generous.

'Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Jason, or Franna as his mates called him, would all agree he was one of the most genuine and down to earth gentleman that you could ever wish to meet.'

Mr Francis and Ms Robinson, originally from England, had lived in Perth for less than a year after travelling the world together on holiday.

The young couple had been together for eight years and had just moved to Australia from Shropshire in England less than a year ago.

They only had each other in Australia, friends say, with both of their families living overseas.

The Cottesloe Rugby Club has jumpstarted a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the grieving families.

'We have set up this Gofundme page to help the Francis and Robinson families with any costs that might be incurrred in sending their loved ones home,' the campaign reads.

'Anything you are able to spare will help and all monies will be held in the Cottesloe Rugby Club account until the campaign closes and at which point the money will be passed onto the families in equal shares.'

The campaign has already raised more than $22,000 of the target $25,000.

‘I am devastated to let everyone know that my beautiful daughter was so ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
