Producers dropped a chilling teaser trailer that hinted at the Stark's battle for Winterfell on Monday- exactly three months before the show is released.

Fans will be delighted by the prospect of finally getting to see how the battle for Westeros pans out, as it was also announced that the series will be simulcast in the US on April 14 at 9pm, and in the UK at 2am on April 15.

The series, which is based on George R.R. Martin's A Song Of Ice And Fire book franchise, will feature six episodes that are expected to be over 60 minutes each in length each.

Speaking to Variety last week, HBO chief Richard Plepler admitted: 'It's a spectacle. The guys have done six movies. The reaction I had while watching them was, "I'm watching a movie."'

'They knew the bar was high. They’ve exceeded the bar. I’ve watched [the episodes] twice without any CGI and I’m in awe. Everybody’s in for an extraordinary treat of storytelling and of magical, magical production.'

The  trailer keeps its focus on beloved characters Arya Stark (played by Maisie), Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) as the trio convene at the crypts below their ancestral home of Winterfell.

Hinting at their potential deaths in the final season, each stares in awe of three eerie statues of themselves before an ice-cold wind grabs their attention once more.

As they prepare to face off against the chilling, other-worldly presence, the fog surrounds them before the trailer fades to black.

In an interview with the Guardian in October, Maisie said her final scene was 'beautiful' but said her character was alone because 'Arya's always b****y alone'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
