In her autobiography, Mone apologised for the 'woman I became' in the wake of her marriage split, confessing she put her ex-husband's cufflinks in the bin, let down his tyres and cut holes in his boxer shorts.
She also said that on one occasion while she and Michael were still sharing the marital home, she poured cold water on his side of the bed, adding: 'I am sorry for that. Sorry for that woman I became. It wasn't nice at all.'
Now, Michelle lives with Scottish businessman Doug - who owns two superyachts, six homes, 15 cars and a private jet - in his sprawling property on the Isle of Man - moving in with her beau early last year.
Between them the couple have seven children - Doug has four kids from two previous marriages - and Michelle has previously said she believes their devotion to family life and shared passion for business is ultimately what makes them work so well as a couple.
'I think because I’m an entrepreneur and he’s an entrepreneur we’ve hit it off,' she told MailOnline.

'When we get back from the office there’s so much to talk about, and it’s not just chit chat.
The Baroness added: 'We have great conversation. He makes me laugh, I make him laugh – I don’t know how, but I do – and we just have so much fun together.
'We’re both really into our families, and we’ve become a family, which is lovely.'
According to BANG Showbiz, she added of their romance in a separate interview: 'My mum told me, "You won't find love if you're looking for it", and honestly, it was the last thing I was looking for.
'But as you get older, you realise what you want from a relationship and I couldn't deny there was a true connection. I feel like I'm in a fairytale, a beautiful dream I don't ever want to wake up from.
'In every way, I came to see that I'd met my match in this amazing man and no one has ever made me feel as cherished or respected.

Michelle splits her time between the Isle of Man, London and the South of France.
Just before Christmas, Michelle had put her five-bedroom Scottish mansion - she used to own with ex Michael - up for sale, as she no longer wants a base in Scotland.
The Glaswegian entrepreneur put her South Lanarkshire home on the market for an 'offers over' price £100,000 less than she paid for it.
She initially bought the property with her former husband in 2008 for £1.5m. The bra mogul took full ownership in 2015 after a tussle for the property following the couple's split in 2011.
Within the property, which Mone described as her 'dream home', is a 26ft lounge, a 36ft family dining kitchen complete with stainless steel fittings and a cinema which boasts reclining leather seats.
There is also a bar converted from a former triple garage, as well as an entertainment system which extends throughout the home.

Security at the property - which also features five en-suite bedrooms - includes panic buttons and a CCTV system that can be monitored by smartphone from anywhere in the world. There are also his-and-her's basins in the main bathroom.
Michael Jones, a partner at estate agents Knight Frank, told a newspaper he believes Mone wants to concentrate on her business in the UK capital, stating: '[Michelle#s] main base is in London. She has business interests worldwide so the house is surplus to requirements.
'It would be nice to think it might command a bit more than the asking price.
'It might have been marketed as a higher price in the past, but it did not sell at that. It has been kept immaculately and has been used very little.'
Michelle was awarded an OBE for her outstanding contribution to business in 2010.
In 2015, she was made a Conservative life peer by David Cameron. She was admitted as the former PM's business tsar and became Baroness Mone of Mayfair.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
