Rumours of family tensions inside Kensington Palace have been swirling for months - and it appears the Duchess of Sussex is beginning to feel the pressure.
Sources say Meghan, 37, is 'fed-up' of not being able to 'stand up for herself' as the demands of royal protocol dictate she keeps a dignified silence regarding rumours of a 'feud' between her and sister-in-law Kate.
An insider told Us Weekly the pregnant duchess is finding it 'frustrating and stressful' having 'no voice' - and finds the constraints of royal life 'debilitating'.
Once an outspoken feminist who gave speeches at United Nations forums, Meghan has since shut down her social media accounts as part of her transition from actress to duchess.
The Duchess of Sussex (pictured with Prince Harry at Westminster Abbey in November) is said to be feeling the strain of not being able to defend herself amid rumours of a rift with Kate
Before meeting Harry, Meghan Markle was an outspoken feminist and in 2015 she gave a speech at a United Nations forum on empowering women to be leaders (pictured at the UN forum on International Women's Day in 2015)
The royal insider told the magazine: 'She's always relied on her own voice to stand up for others, and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling.
'She's always been so independent, her entire life, and that's all been taken away from her. She's always been able to clap back on social media and now she can't.'
The source added that Prince Harry, who is 'very protective' of his wife of seven months, is feeling the pressure too.
It comes after rumours of a rift between the Cambridges and Sussexes, following the news that Harry and Meghan would be moving away from Kensington Palace to Frogmore House in Windsor.
There were claims that Kate was left in tears following Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid's dress fitting, ahead of Meghan and Harry's wedding in May, as well as suggestions the pair had clashed over staff.

Look beautiful in blue like Meghan in Veronica Beard
The Duchess of Sussex's tour wardrobe for her trip to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga was second to none.
Here she is in a sky blue number by Veronica Beard. Meghan has a knack for affordable style, regularly mixing in mid-priced clothing with designer duds, and we're all too grateful for the approachable style inspo.
While no small change, the 'Cary' dress by Veronica Beard costs £470, which is much less than most designer frocks. Plus the versatile style can be worn year round. Tempted? Click (right) to buy it now.

However, royal insiders have insisted that there has been no falling out between the Cambridges and the Sussexes, but admitted the pair are 'very different people'.
A source previously told the Daily Mail's Rebecca English: '[W]hile there are some tensions behind the scenes, Kate is pretty unflappable and nothing has become bad enough to make Harry and Meghan want to move out.
'People are genuinely pleased to see them so happy. The truth is that there simply isn't enough room at Kensington Palace for them and I know they have been looking at Windsor as a possibility since before the wedding.'
Prince Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37 - who are expecting their first child together in the Spring - are expected to stay at Kate and William's Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, this Christmas, as they did last year.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
