They recently enjoyed a romantic and steamy Mauritius getaway.

And Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson decided to get some spontaneous piercings on Thursday. 

The former exotic dancer, 24, took to her Instagram stories to document the hilarious moment.

Sharing a short video of Wes looking worried, which she captioned 'last minute ear piercing for princess', she went on to narrate the scene.

She said: 'So Wes is getting his ears pierced. You can see the fear, the sweating, don't worry!'

The next video, titled 'brave boy', saw the Electrical and Nuclear Systems Design Engineer sitting in an ear piercing chair as two technicians approached him.

However, Wes remained his cool and the within seconds both of his ears were pierced with gold diamond studs.

Yet Megan was left annoyed over his lack of reaction, to which she joked: 'Didn't even flinch, you little s**t! It didn't hurt, did it?' 

Wes' ear piercing comes ahead of his debut on ITV's ice skating series Dancing On Ice, which starts in January.   

Meanwhile, Megan recently spoke out after a person at a celebrity event told her she was 'so fat now' after gaining a stone since leaving the Majorcan villa.

The 24-year-old beauty, who says it's old fashioned to believe you can't be sexy and a feminist, added that she enjoys being 'womanly' and wouldn't want to be a stick because 'it's too much hard work.'

In a wide-ranging interview with The Sun, the blonde beauty said: 'I'm a size 10, I lead a healthy life, I go to the gym, I eat right and yeah I've put on weight since the villa, but I'm not overweight and I'm not fat!

'Yes, I've put on a stone, but I'm comfortable with my figure. I like being womanly, and that when I wear a pencil skirt it goes in and out.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
