Charlie Brown and Snoopy are coming back to life after web giant Apple signed a deal to re-imagine the characters for a new series.
The cartoons will be available through Apple’s streaming service, and a short-form film starring an astronaut version of Snoopy is already being made.
The new shows are expected to start in the second half of next year and will be created by Canadian media company DHX.
The comic strip was first published in 1950 and went on to feature a gang of children and Woodstock the bird.
Charlie Brown was famously thoughtful and once said: ‘I’ve developed a new philosophy … I only dread one day at a time!’
The comic strip ran until 2000 when its American creator Charles M. Schulz died at the age of 77.
Schulz had announced that he was retiring and the strip published on February 13 would be his last.
He died the day before it appeared.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
